Speaking of songs embeded in ones' brain. While stuck in traffic this morning I heard a song (don't know the name nor artist) and can't get the thing out of my head.

here's the line: " I like coconuts, they smell like ladies lying on the beach"

It's either Creed or Nickleback. You might want to check with Spider on that if he ever makes an appearance.

Meet me in the crowd
People, people
Throw your love around
Love me, love me
Take it into town
Happy, happy
Put it in the ground
Where the flowers grow
Gold and silver shine

(chorus)
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing

Everyone around
Love them, love them
Put it in your hands
Take it, take it
There's no time to cry
Happy, happy
Put it in your heart
Where tomorrow shines
Gold and silver shine

EVERYBODY NOW!

That's Widespread Panic. They are good to have stuck in your head.

Ever time I have seen them live it just didn't get me going.

Really? That's interesting, because I'm not actually a huge Widespread fan, but I LOVE their live shows, never have had a bad time at one of thier shows.

Just the thought of coconuts and ladies on the beach seemed much more appealing than going to the office this morning.

No need to thank me

It all goes back to the first time I saw them...it was basically in a gym-a-cafe-atorium. Sound was terrible and the room was half filled. This was in 1994 or so.

I saw them for 1/2 a set on Austin City limits, thought what I heard was great ran out and bought one of their cd's and thought it sucked ass. I may have dumped it in the library drop box.
