Why do congressmen/women have this much time on their hands and what do they hope to accomplish? Is this the reason anyone here voted for their elected representative? What is next, congress decides what shade is true Broncos orange?

"I think there is better than a 50 percent chance that if we don't see some action in the next two months on a voluntary switch to a playoff system that you will see this bill move," he said.

Im not on board with congress getting involved in sports at all.

That being said, **** the BCS system. It sucks and there is no true champ ever. Never has been in College. Kinda like the early years of basketball. Helms titles are like BCS titles. Worthless.

And the NCAA will never change it unless forced to by the fans (wont happen) or congress (might happen).

Why is Congress involved? Because of the billions of dollars some state schools feel that have no chance at.
