Not a big deal. Although Flight security has never made me feel secure.

Anyone really concerned about a 13 year old terrorist?

Oh, but we can't profile, so everyone is just as likely guilty or innocent as the next person, including kids.

I made it thru Frankfurt(Germany) International Airport all the way to the boarding gate without a passport or a ticket.

You must have missed the part where the 13 year old didn't have a bomb. If the kid got on the plane with a keg of Gun Powder I might be more worried.

BTW Seems like the terrorists are having to dig a little deeper into there Suicidal Bomber Line up. They are past the Cell Phone Kiosks and into Grade School detention rooms.

It was probably only one TSA agent screw up and that isn't surprising since the only creds for that job is a heartbeat. The second ticket the he bought he was probably already behind security.

Can I clarify the obvious?

Is anyone concerned about 13 year old, white, American, autistic terrorists?

Only if they aren't airing the latest episode of People's Court with Judge Wapner as the in-flight movie.

..and I made it through Customs, Homeland Security and onto the plane in Aruba with my ticket from Miami to Denver in lieu of my ticket from Aruba to Miami.
They REALLY pay attention to detail!:spit:

Of couse he's not a terrorist. The point is...an Autistic 13 year old kid manages to slip past Airport security not once...but twice...with no ID and being underage to fly alone...and boards 2 airline flights.

Wonder what those security guys are paying attention to?

A few weeks ago I flew to California and I'll lay money down on what the agents at the time were looking at. There was this 20 something year old blonde chick wearing skin tight black pants and a very loose white halter top with no bra. I swear everyone, even other girls/women were staring at her. :wiggle:

Thing is...how does a 13 year old even get on the plane? He used his report card as ID...lol

Like AZ said. These screeners are hired if they have a pulse. They treat security with a shotgun approach. They throw a ton of resources at it. Its why you see like 6,000 TSA agents watching the monitor on the scanners. But just like with a shotgun things slip through the scatter!

Maybe the doofus at the check in counter could have questioned a 13 year old showing his report card?

True but he could have easily made an e-ticket and if he isn't checking baggage he doesn't have to check in.

There are quite few 18-20 year olds that could pass for thirteen if they wanted...just saying.

Well you have to show your ID at the security line even if you had to checkin. So that may be what they mean but I always check in on-line and go straight to security, never check in.

Anyone really concerned about a 13 year old terrorist?

Not one that is white I'm not, but yeah I could see them talking a 13 yr old into bombing a plane. Haven't we already had teenage suicide bombers?

The autistic kid didn't get a bomb through security.

Not that it isn't possible, but I'd be concerned about weapons sneaking through security over unarmed human beings.

There is a lot wrong with this statement and that is the thought process that gets planes used as weapons.

With armed US Marshalls on board along with people who now know better?

No chance a plane gets used as a weapon again by another group of unarmed scrubs.

LOL thats funny! Armed Air Marshalls are only on a number of flights. And as time passes that will dwindle. I would put nothing past terrorists and if they wanted to they could do it again.
