I just counted the roster and we have 89 players right now. How many players are we allowed to have going into training camp?

**edit - Griesen signing puts us at 90.

And to answer a question stated by someone previously, Orton is #8 now, not 18.

Oh, and Brandstater was #7 in college. Maybe he gets #17 in the pros........

Where's Plummer???

Didn't want to start a new thread for that little tidbit.

Anyway, nuthin' wrong with randomness......

I always thought it was 80 in TC, but maybe with the nfl Europe exceptions no longer allowed they bumped it up to 90...

After a few of the camps, the cuts will start coming.

#18 is one of the 3 Broncos numbers that's retired.

i would bank on McDaniels giving his new Tom B the number 12

such a waste of a retired number. Tripucka played here for like 3 years. talk about minimal accomplishments to have your number retired.

Not as bad as the Avalanche retiring Ray Bourque's number when he only played one full season for them...

Not arguing that point at all... but some younger fans don't know who Floyd Little was, much less Frank Tripucka... or that #7, #18, and #44 are unavailable.

In all candor, I'd much rather see #27 retired than #18... or #30... or #84... or #80.

For whom, Williams or Atwater?

I'd say the correct answer is "both"... although I wouldn't have opposed the idea of retiring #27 before anyone wore it after the "Smilin' Assassin"....he played a key role in the SB XXXII win.

It's at 80.

The draft picks aren't counted until they officially sign contracts.

As each pick signs another player will need to be cut.
