At the beginning of the day I was excited to see how we could build onto our defense, but at days end I was depressed to see that we did not significantly add any DL pieces to work with.

All in all I am "ok" with who we picked, slightly confused, but I will wait to see how all the picks work out before judging them too harshly.

The last pick, the center, was definitely the most confusing pick to me tho.. I guess Lichestenger (sp?) is not an option here anymore. We will find out I guess.

Also, I would have much rather had a WR without hamstring issues...

I believe I'll wait until they've played a game (or even 16) before rendering my judgment.

Crazy, I know.

I got the impression from McDaniels' press conference today that they see Schlueter as general C/G depth, which should help us, maybe. I still think that Lichtensteiger is next in line at C if he works out. Getting someone in there to take over for Wiegmann whenever that's necessary (maybe this season??) will be important.

Second verse, same as the first. Blindly throwing picks away to trade up, seemingly at random. Are the players worth the picks? We will see...

I like the pick of McKinley, who has a chance to stick and I Bruton was taken to high but we'll see how it pans out.

And I like they got a developmental QB that seems to fit the McD mold.

Maybe he can develop into a decent backup and anything more than, it will be a big bonus.

I don't know enough about these guys to comment about their potential. But not finding some pass rush is a bummer. I think we'll be watching alot of dudes run over the broncs again.

Not too bad. We continued to fill out OL depth and add some WR depth and ST help. Nothing too surprising. All in all, a nice collection of players that is going to help balance out some badly needed ares of this roster. Of course, only time will tell if they pan out.

Many a great looking draft on draft day has ended up looking like **** later on, and vise-versa.

A lot of success in the NFL relies one how a team does on 3rd down. That was a huge problem for us on defense and the 10 yard cushion was a huge culprit. Maybe by improving the back end of the defense the Nolan will be more aggressive up front on third downs. And along those lines, maybe our front 7 wasnt as bad as what everyone thought last year.

Absolutely love the 2nd day. Love the whole draft as a matter of fact.

I do like how most our rookies were good ST players. That needs an upgrade on our end and Im happy for that.

You read that one.

...and yours reads like a 5th grader mentally stumbling over flat earth to spit out the equivalent of "I'm rubber, you're glue...!"

Nice.

I thinks we need better grammar in thread titles.

That aside, I put my faith in the new regime's black magic.

I hope so. I actually like alot of the dudes. And I think this draft does make some sense. A starting rb. Who i think is going to be amazing. He's got barry sanders type hip wiggle. sort of. Ayers should find a spot. But I actually like the fact they tried to get a starting nickle corner and a cover safety who should see some time.
