There are still some LB's left in this draft, as well as DL. Broncos may even go with a WR at some point and yes, one figures a QB to have 3 in camp.

Im sure you are suggesting that we take a couple RBs and place them on the practice squad? 6 is an awful lot is it not?

SILB: Andra Davis, Spencer Larsen, Mario Haggan

CB: Andre' Goodman, Alphonso Smith, Jack Williams

Will start after training Camp.

And I think Bomar will be a Bronco with the 5th pick

There's a reason the Broncos haven't stock up on the D-Line this year because there was no one that could be a playmaker on the D-Line in this draft besides Raji and Jackson.

Sheff is gone. Also I think that Smith will have every opportunity to start and dGoodman will be the nickel. Selvin Young will be gone also. Macrcus Thomas will be a DE...and today Fields is the NT. Powell is his backup and will backup at NT. Ayers will be a DE mainly. He is not a good pass rusher at all! So Darrell Reid is still starting.

Tomorrow we have 2 huge holes that need to be addressed. NT and OLB. I would also like to get some FA to help. Gabe Watson at NT would be great pickup and would cost us our 2nd next year. Not sure how would be a good OLB, but even a vet ILB would be ok and DJ could move outside.

I agree with you. That is why we need to pick up a vet NT like Gabe Watson

It must be nice having a FB that is faster than the RB.

Assuming Quinn will be a blocker -- we will still need a pass catching TE -- so probably Sheff stays. I hope so.

Can it be that McD sees NT potential in Marcus Thomas?

I would rather use Hillis as an H-back and lets take whatever we can take for Sheff.

McDaniels appeared lukewarm in discussing Thomas a DE and has mentioned him at the NT position a few times this offseason. He's also said the DL need to be versatile to play both spots so I imagine we'll see those guys moving around. Per Ayers, McDaniels said he'll be a stand-up guy on 1st and 2nd downs and move over to a 3-point stance over the guard on 3rd downs. My guess is we'll be seeing Ayers all over the field with Dumervil, Reid or Moss (someone who isn't starting) coming in as our 3rd down rusher.

no sir...

Ayers will be the other OLB, with him playing down on 3rd down...

Ayers had 7 sacks as a senior and like 24 tackles BEHIND the line of scrimmage so i'm not sure how you think he can't pass rush...
