What are you going to show warner's toupe? Maybe if they used warner's wife, then it would sell.

Sounds like they made some decent changes to the game but I'm guessing the game play will still feel pretty quirky. I swear I spent more time in Madden adjusting the sliders then actually playing the game...

Yea. I read in gameinformer that EA fixed the animations and QB's now won't go into auto-sack when the pass-rusher is near. The QB will now be able to get the ball off.

DB's won't make split second change of direction (without looking) and make INT's and pass defenses. Hopefully it will make it more realistic to throw to a corner with his back to you.

My only hope is the roster-updates are more like the 2k living rosters and available for 360 silver accounts and not just Gold.

I hate EA... but it's the only football game available until the exclusive deal ends.

They claim to have fixed issues from previous games every year, only to have most of the improvements and updated stuff be terribly bugged.
**** you, EA!

EA always being so creative, steals the art style from Street Fighter IV.

Pathetic from an artistic standpoint, but it looks really good.

... Also yeah... not gonna really want to play the Broncos online in this game as QB is VITAL in that game if you want to truly dominate.

Flex Gunmetal

Not really. You can dump screens all day w/ a decent running game and dominate.

ONE MORE YEAR! Lets hear it guys! One more year of this bull**** til 2k is back!

2k had their chance to create a generic game that was fully customizable and have a franchise mode in it, but they didn't.
All Pro Football failed because, in the end, it lacked the depth Madden does.

And I really hate to say that now, because Madden's depth is severely lacking now. Last year was the first time in years I didn't buy it, and it sounds I made the right decision. EA always says they are making such and such improvements, but nothing really happens. I remember one year they talked up about the OL blocking, but it was the freakin same idiotic stuff.

NCAA is where its at, online dynasty's are the freakin **** man.

I actually applaud 2k's attempt w/ APF. It's a great idea in theory, and some aspects of the game play were better than madden, some were inferior.
The thing is people want to draft and carry dynastys.
If you could plug in madden's content into 2k's gameplay template, you would have a very successful game.

This is exactly it, and 2k didn't listen to the fanbases when they were outraged 2k didn't include a franchise/dynasty mode. Plus, it didn't help that 2k's response was more like "We aren't doing it because we don't feel we need to, people are attracted to the gameplay." Well, part of it is true, but people need replayability, such as a franchise/dynasty mode.

And I do agree that if you combined everything 2k and Madden did well, you would have one freakin amazing football game.

They really need to improve computer AI...i hate playing guys that run the same 5 plays the whole game yet the cumputer defenders can never figure it out..its very annoying. What is just as annoying is that when you play lets say the Vikings..AP breaks the first tackle 9.5 times out of 10...like i get that he's good but com'on. There is just so much annoying **** that is in the game year in and out...especially the roster updates...on the last update Clady only had a rating of 90 and Kuper and Harris were just above an 80. Royal was like an 81 or 82.

I haven't bought the last 2 versions of Madden (rented 08 for awhile), and I have to say I'm going through serious withdrawals.

Madden may not be a great game, but it's the only game in town.

Yes sadly my passing rank has taken a hit getting used to Orton and the Patiots offense. But it's starting to pick up.

Madden is EA's life blood. There may never be another NFL football game.

<!--//tool box end//--><!--//article and page numbers//-->WASHINGTON — This year’s edition of EA Sports’ "Madden NFL" video game will feature two cover athletes: Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
The shared cover of "Madden NFL 10," which arrives in stores Aug. 14, has something for everyone: Polamalu is a defensive AFC player and Fitzgerald an offensive NFC player.
