I am (hopefully) coming over to the states for the Dallas game next season but will need to fly in from dallas on the day as i have commitments in that area before and after the game. Anyone got any suggestions of which airline would be best cost they all seem pretty pricey from my searches so far.

Thanks for your help

Do some research before and check which airlines charge you for checked in luggage and which donīt or only take a carry-on bag.

I paid like $180 for my return flights from DFW to DIA with AA, but AA charges you for checked in luggage.

United is based out of Denver so they sometimes have cheaper flights. I flew them last year when I went to the game in Denver. AA has some decent prices also, but it is $15 per checked bag per person.

May check Southwest Airlines too, but they will have a layover somewhere.

I'd check with Southwest first - they fly out of Love field in Dallas not DFW.

Also check Frontier airlines, though in the past year I have found Southwest consistently beats Frontier in pricing our airfare out of Denver.

I fly out in and out of DFW about 20 times a year. Stay away from AA if possible. They have horrible service, the worst record out there of canceling flights, etc...if you have a choice pick something else.

If you're staying in the city consider buying a Southwest flight out of Dallas Lovefield airport. you will have one stop in either Albequerque or OK city but it is a small airport you can show up to even less than an hour beforehand and right in the city unlike DFW. I make several trips from Dallas to Denver a year and overall I would say the amount of time is identical on direct DFW flight or a one stop Southwest flight. this far in advance Southwest usually has very good prices.
