View Full Version : Good Stafford vs Sanchez analysis

by Greg Cosell of NFL Films/Sporting News. From the article:

"the bottom line is this: Sanchez did not show the capacity to make all the throws demanded of NFL quarterbacks. He struggled to throw the ball to the outside, and he did not drive the ball down the field with velocity and authority. Pop in a tape of Sanchez, and follow it immediately with one of Stafford, and the difference in arm strength was glaring. If you think that's not a factor as they transition to the next level, then you are not watching the NFL closely."

I don't want to see the Broncos moving up to draft Sanchez. If he's there at #12 (doubtful) then maybe but still prefer sticking with Orton/Simms and using the two #1 picks on D.

Cosell is really good ... I used to watch him on NFLN.

Is he still on there?

Sporting News? Hilarious! They're the ones with the great mock that has us taking Pettigrew and Britton in the first round.

I believe so but his role is as a producer so he is kind of behind of scenes.

Sanchez's release is better then Staffords. Neither of them are Jay Cutler, but both of them could be a a significant improvement over our current stable of quarterbacks.

If we trade a elite Qb and then draft either of these losers I'll $hit ....
