Not good for the Broncos???? Are you insane? When it's all said and done those are two top 10 picks!!!

On other words, I'd be prepared to call McD the next Bilichik or Lombardi... Parcells, Walsh, whatever!!! If he could get a haul like that I would be very impressed. Of course, a lot of it is luck of the draw... but still!

I'll betcha both go top 10.

Most on this board don't like the idea of taking Sanchez when there are other needs. And neither is a top 10 pick if, you know, they get drafted at 12 and 18 respectively. :)

The rumor I have heard is KC wants out of the #3 spot - maybe a deal with Washington?

I've read that too, makes me wonder how they move down and get him...

Sanchez will be a bust. You can tell by the way he carries himself. The second best QB out of USC in 30 years is a bust.

Actually has more to do with the stupidity of the other teams than anything. That's kind of like telling the guy who was dealt pocket aces, "nice hand" for sitting there and doing nothing.

KC is looking to deal with Buffalo at #10, so we'd have to deal with the Jags at #8 to jump ahead of KC to get Jackson if that is who we are targeting

Walter's has KC looking at Curry as well. I guess it depends on what Detroit does. I also noticed that Walter's has Denver taking Raji at 12 and Brown at 18. Anyone know why Brown has dropped from a top 10 prospect if at all?

NFLN said, yesterday teams aren't sure where to play Brown that's why he's dropping but, we'll see.

I worry about drafting more guys who will immediately be 'out of position'. If Brown can't play in this scheme he isn't a good pick.

Well the news about Jarvis and Crowder means we will be looking at OLB I am sure

Good thing is there seems to be a plethora to choose from in the 1st

I hate the idea of trading up for Sanchez, but if he was available at 12, I would not feel upset if the Broncos drafted him, especially if they could still get Jackson at 18.

I'm the superstitious type though... if the chips fell that way it would be b/c the football gods are smiling down on McD. GOOD KARMA! ;D

Would it have been a little more obvious if he did this one?:

#12 Mathew Stafford
#18 Aaron Curry
#48 Michael Crabtree
#79 Tyson Jackson (reach a bit here)
#84 Malcolm Jenkins

One trick pony that lacks size and his measurable speed and athleticism wasn't as good as expected. The main reason though is the size. Most expected him to be a bit undersized at 6'3 and 255. He ended up at 6'1.

Over/under on number of people here that would still find a way to b*tch about that draft?

About the same as the o/u that someone will come on here and say of those 5 picks I doubt Michael Crabtree will fall that far. ;D My how the Mane has fallen!!!

This is exactly how I feel about the whole situation. Package picks to move up and get a guy who won't start for at least half the season? Don't see it. If he's there at 12, I'd be okay with taking him though. Or trading the 12th to Washington so they can get him, we drop back to 13 (and get another pick, either this year or next for the privilege) and get the BPA at a need position.

Come on Danny Snyder... you know you want him...

Rumor is Jackson is moving up on draft boards so lets take him at 48 and take Crabtree at 79. We want to make sure we get him since the D is a big priority.

Good heavens! Will everybody (OSKIE!) please stop repping and PM'ing me, "But BroncoBuff, Curry is a Top 5 pick!" (OSKIE!)

I KNOW THAT!

I'm making fun of Williamson for predicting two probable Top 10 players to be available for us at #12 and #18 ...

Dont worry Buff we have already regrouped and figured the error of our ways. I think as the draft gets closer some are starting to lose their minds. :)

I'm not sure there is a wider range for one player in this draft other than Jackson. Some, mistakenly I believe, that he's a top 5 pick, while others have him going into the 3rd round. Now that's a wide range to say the least.

I really want one of the USC LB's, preferrably Rey Rey or Clay Matthews, at 18.

Especially if we get Raji/Jackson at 12.

I would think Minnesota would be a strong candidate to move up for a QB.

Denver is not going to draft Sanchez -- it's all smoke and mirrors. Their goal is to have other teams jumping above them to grab Sanchez so that the players Denver actually covets have a chance to fall into their laps.

Seriously, the Sanchez choice is just a product of the hype machine and Denver has chosen to embrace it and try to use it to their advantage.
