12. Denver Broncos (8-8): Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
Top three needs: QB, NT, 3-4 DE
The interesting thing with Denver is that on paper, the Broncos need a quarterback. But even if Sanchez were to fall to the Broncos here, I don't expect them to pull the trigger. This pick is all about the D-line for the Broncos. If Raji somehow slips, they'll cash in and grab him. If not, Denver will take the best five-technique DE (interior DE in a 3-4) in this year's class.

18. Denver Broncos (from 9-7 CHI) (8-8): Everette Brown, DE, Florida State
Top three needs: QB, NT, 3-4 DE
The Broncos will look to continue to upgrade their defensive front seven with this pick, and Brown could help fill out the rotation of perimeter pass-rushers. The wild card here could be a running back. If Beanie Wells starts to fall, the Broncos could look to take advantage and snag the Ohio State product because he's a perfect fit for Denver's zone-blocking scheme.

16. (48) Denver Broncos Ron Brace NT Boston College
15. (79) Denver Broncos Jasper Brinkley ILB South Carolina
20. (84) Denver Broncos (from Chicago) Chip Vaughn SS Wake Forest
14. (114) Denver Broncos C.J. Spillman DS Marshall
13. (149) Denver Broncos Rashad Jennings RB Liberty
12. (185) Denver Broncos Hunter Cantwell QB Louisville
16. (225) Denver Broncos Travis Bright OG BYU
26. (235) Denver Broncos (from Atlanta) George Bussey OT Louisville

actually Knowshon is the perfect fit for the ZBS with vision, great hands, and blocking ability...but ok McShay.

I would be all over that draft. Instant upgrade on the defense.

I would personally take Scott McKillop / Zack Folley over Binkley and Mike Teel over Hunter Cantvell. Other than that this could be pretty good draft for us.

up until pick 149 I loved it

That would be a pretty damn good draft. I'd like to see another 5-tech DE in the later rounds, like a Will Johnson or Zach Potter, and I'd take Todd Boeckman as our later round QB sleeper, but the top five guys or so I can't really complain about.

My ideal draft is different, but I would be happy with this outcome

I would love this ****ing draft. The later round stuff could vary, and that's fine. But, I love the first half. I'll **** a brick if it plays out this way.

I am really not high on Brown @ #18. I would also rather have Roger Allen than Bright in the 7th. I do like the Brace, Brinkley, Vaughn picks.

The 1st 4 picks are good--(Jackson fills a need but is not going to be a superstar IMHO)but if Moreno is there @ 18--man I want us to take him despite RB not being our biggest need. I really think that Knowshon is going to be a superstar--think a bigger version of Brian Westbrook --or in NE speak--Kevin Faulk but with more ability.

I think a first round RB actually makes a bit of sense at this point. We have an awesome OL, and a QB who can probably be relied on to competently but unspectacularly run the system. Adding a bigtime talent at RB, and getting more run oriented, could improve that offense considerably.

I can live with this draft. I don't know what a "DS" is, but overall I can't complain. Kudos to ESPN for doing some homework.

i love mckillop, but think he's a better fit in the 4-3. very instinctual, but doesnt shed blockers as well.

Ideally I would like to see a SOLB back in the draft. Who's playing that spot? Reid? Boss? I'd really like a Connor Barwin, but I wouldn't change any of these first 3 picks for Barwin, so maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder.

I would replace one of the late round o-linemen with a WR. Also, I am not 100% sold on E. Brown in the 1st. I wouldn't mind a stud RB or LB for the 18th pick...other than that, I like it.

A draft like this would give me some faith in McDaniels. First 6 picks on the deffensive side of the ball, and the first four on the front seven would go a long way toward actually fixing what has been wrong with the Broncos for half a decade.
