OT - Bronco toybox help

When I was a kid my uncle built me a very awesome truck for a toybox.

It was red cab with the trailer in grey.

He hand built it, and it is one of the very few things from my youth I have.

My mom put Bozo stickers on the trailer and that was how it stayed until this afternoon when I started sanding it.

It is about 4' long by 18" wide.

I am going to fill the dings and repaint it thought I would put a Bronco's logo in the middle and either player #'s or stickers of John and Floyd on either side.

Has anyone seen any cool vintage Bronco stickers of Floyd or Elway? that would mesh with this theme? I do have the "Go Bronco's Go" sticker with a guy wearing jersey # 62 on it but it is kinda small and I hate to use it when I have kept it mint after all this time. I have a 4" D logo that is still mint but it is too small also.

I am going pre-bowlen with the logo's and colors but painting is not something I excell at.

My 16 month old is getting this so I want it to look nice.

I will link a picture of it before the sand job once I upload it.

Any ideas welcome - no lesbos licking each other like tom green painted on his dad's car hood please.

You might look at vintage football cards, peel the top off the card or if too small you can enlarge the image at Kinkos (color copy) and then cut out. There are some great pictures on the old cards and you can find them on ebay.

Trick that thing out. Paint it orange and blue, slap some Bronco decals on it.....throw some monster wheels on it from a remote control car. Stick McDaniels face on the back with a sticker that says "How's my coaching"

Here's an idea, buy some bumper sticker paper that can go into your printer. Search for images online and print them out:

I pulled it out of storage, It was cool back in 1973.

It spent a good 15 years in my Aunts basement. They have a farm and raised pigs. for a while, still not sure why, but they kept some pigs in their farmhouse basement.

Then after a through cleaning it spent time in a barn and then garage and my unfinished basement.

I had a real hard time coming to the realization that it might scare the **** out of my son and really needed a new paint job/design.

Funny how when you only have a handfull of things from your childhood you don't want to let them go.
