I like our chances against Giants. The mid week games generally favor the home team.

I think Cin will be touhg matchup in week 1. It is likely that Carson will be healthy as is its early in the season and he should be salivating at a chance to go against our secondary which is probably oldest or only behind NE in nfl.

So you guys are throwing in the towel already huh? Well it is a brutal schedule, but most of the afc west will be playing a similar schedule.

If we can score what we did last yr which was middle of the pack, and get defense to be 50 yrds and a score less a game, special teams plays better, I think we can go 7-9 - 8-8. Who knows get to that point and a couple lucky games can get you a wildcard.

I do think though its safe to say Broncos are in for a tough yr. I can live with a losing season, what I want to see is a team that gives the other team a tough game, and shows us they are going to be good in a couple yrs.

We just need to hit on the next 2 yrs in the draft.

I dated an italian chic once. She hated italian guys. Little dicks and couldnt last more than a minute.

She said once "They are always grabbing their crotch, hoping that it grew a little, but if you ever watch them, when they grab there, they only need one hand and its such a small hand".

In my experience, wops that talk about their dicks are usually compensating because they dont have one.

It's tough but I'm pretty excited about playing at Baltimore and Washington. I will for sure be at those games, maybe even Philly and Giants.

It's a tough schedule but the Ravens had a pretty bad year in 2007 and their 2008 schedule was among the toughest in the NFL at the beggining of the season, worked out fairly well for them...why not us?

I went to last years Raiders v Ravens games, Baltimore is a great place for tailgating and watching football. Fed Ex field is a piece of crap stadium but it will be tons of fun to destroy the skins.

On paper it looks pretty brutal, but you never know.

I think Dallas is an 8 and 8 football team next year, and beatable by anyone in the league. Cincinnati and Cleveland are also winnable games. Oakland and KC are rebuilding. That's 5 wins right there assuming we split with Oakand and KC. Oct 11th, to Nov 22nd will be nasty though. I'd be ecstatic with .500 during that stretch.

Overall, I think 7-9 to 9-7 is a realistic prediction

i'm sure we'll have a few upsets in there... and i think we can beat indy and philly

It depends on our "D" with Indy? This Team is too new to figure out. Though teams will play Denver like they are playing New England, Denver is still different. Orton is in a different system. Teams are going to know the recievers but the D is different. The running backs will, for the most part, be healthier. I'm hoping for some upsets too but don't see any this year. Too many "new things" for Denver this year.

Better hope Chicago loses half their roster to injury next year so we can have two top 10 picks. Taylor Mays and _______.

good lord, really?

I don't know why anyone was under the impression this team would go better than 8-8 with the same personnel that finished the season including the coach

you McDaniels bashers won't ever admit it because there cannot be proof, but it is my opinion that this team would finish MAYBE 1 loss more than the team that we had at the end of the year...neither team would/will be looking at a lot better than 8-8 again

keep in mind kids, it wouldn't be Mike Nolan running the D had nothing changed, it would be Bob ****ing Slowik again running the team into the ground one more year

I thought 2 years ago the D couldn't have been worse, and I was proven way wrong...I think the D is better now without a single snap being taken although I digress that was not a huge leap they had to make

no

if they make some solid draft picks to help the D...we could eek out 9 wins maybe, but damn if hoping that some rookies and a handful of vets stepping in can make the team a lot better really concerns me

let's hope it truly is system over talent

5-11 is the mark I think is about right. One game either way is certainly feasable but not any better than 6-10. It's going to be a crazy year no doubt. They will win some they shouldn't and lose one or two that make us crazy. Fun either way. Go Broncos, enjoy it while it lasts McDaniels.

Hello Sirs.

I will be attending the Chargers game in Denver this year.

Last year I attended too, but it was in Early September, and even though I thought it was mostly cold (about 55), I'm sure that Nov 22 is a lot colder.

Should I be expecting snow around that time, or is it still too early for that?

in Colorado we expect the snow when it is falling pretty much, then an hour later it will be 70 out

it's great

Historically November is our 2nd "snowiest" (if that's even a word) month... Then again it was nearly 70 degrees on thanksgiving last year.

Blizzards, avalanches and 70 mph winds after the storm. Best you and your fans from SD that needed that extra day to sell out the playoff game due to a coming drizzle against the Titans. Bundle up at home with some hot cocoa. It is Denver. It can look gorgeous in the morning and wind driven snow 2 hours later.

Us Native San Diegans, admittedly don't have the thickest blood.

The Game last year week 2 was about 85 degrees, but the 3 days preceding it were about 50-55, and I was FREEZING.

Never seen the snow.

Should be fun.

No Sunday Night games!

That's what bummed me. I'd trade both Monday Night games for Sunday Night ones.

Monday Night football just sucks now compared to Sunday Night.

Wonder why people think the Great Coach McDaniels can't win with the 19th toughest schedule in the league?

It's only 19th because we have the Raiders and Chiefs in our division... also facing Cini (who was without Palmer last year) helped it out a bit).

We easily have one of the hardest in the ENTIRE NFL.

Maybe because we are talent deprived outside of the OL position.

QB - Average at best.
HB - SUBPAR.
FB - Where does Hillis play? That is the question.
WR - Marshall looks to be in the clear but coming off another injury plagued offseason. Royal should be better but must deal with less at QB.
TE - Graham should fit in well but Scheffler is on the block. Depth behind those two is a serious question.
OL - We could use slightly more depth on the line. Has the potential be a great unit. (we're probably trying to trade a few of these players here. ha ha)
DL - A lot of guys out of place... starters? Any? 4-3 guys trying to play the 3-4.
LB - Holes across the board here too.
DB - This unit is better, I guess, because we devoted some money to Dawkins who has a couple seasons left... and a couple of never-beens. Yay.

ST's - Average at best. Very inconsistent.

4-12 summed up for you.

I call BS. No one on this board have any clue how the team will play or what they are capable of doing. Until they actually play, you cant make predictions on how they will do.

I say this every year and it always turns out true. Schedule always looks easier or harder than it will play out. There will be injuries on all teams that will effect the toughness of the games.

That's definitely true, and there are always a few teams who everyone expects to be world beaters that wind up 8 and 8. Lets hope that befalls 75 percent of that nasty 8 in a row!

Comparing our schedule to Chicago's the Bears could still have a better record even if Cutler doesnt play so well for them and Orton plays well for us, that sucks.

McD gets a bit of slack this year on several fronts, not to mention an all new regime and most all new players, he's now got to start with in all likelihood a very difficult road.

we have more than just a few coming in. theres quite a bit of talent coming in and w/ their talent comes wisdom which can be passed to to our so-so players. and if this draft is done right it can be a HUGE boost. idk why everyone on here takes a little bit of leadership for granted. there was no leader on the D last. ole champ (as much as i love the guy) hes a player and not a leader. and if you forget ortons defense last year was almost if not as bad as ours last year

On Yahoo sports they had Simms with 8 and Orton with 18. Not a credible source so I am sure you are right.

For once the Chargers catch a break with the schedule. Maybe it was to make up for all the schedules they've had in recent years.

Usually, they face three or four teams coming off their bye week. None this time. And finally, a nice East Coast schedule for once! And no trips to London!!

But I'm still confident that Norv will once again have the team start slow and we'll have to fight our way back into the playoff contention again. :pity:
