Hey Bum, Hope you are in Indy. That was a great spot you had 2 yrs ago, on top of the parking garage. Burning of the Colts t-shirt must be done again!

No it doesn't. There are no Connecting hotels to the new Stadium. Lukas Oil field is harder to get to in the Winter than the Dome was. Parking is much more Scattered.

As far as Colts fans, they are pretty tame compared to other die hards. They will root for the Colts pretty hard, but rarely make poor comments like other fanbases. The new stadium is worth the trip though, it's impressive and the fans are not as hardcore as the were in the dome.

ok but you can still walk through the interlinks come out where the old dome was and its a 50 ft walk. Not bad.

Uh....car on fire? I remember burning a colts tshirt but a car. Must have been really wasted... either you or I or both. LOL. If I make it we'll do the same spot on top of the parking garage. Had the whole place to ourselves.

That was a good spot. We could have gotten away with burning a car if we wanted. I hope we burn a Manning jersey this time!

Hi - 1st post and all that :welcome:

I have got tickets for this & can't wait!

As it stands then surely there must be a good chance of it getting moved to the evening game? As I haven't too far to travel I almost prefer this as it gives us a lot more time to loosen the ol' vocal chords.

To anyone coming from out of State then remember you can't buy beer from liquor stores on a Sunday here.

Should be good - bring it on.

Well, since I'm laid off indefinitly, it looks like I'll be here for the Colts/ Broncos game. I probably won't go to the game as nose bleeds are going for 100+ per ticket and I really can't afford that right now. But enough about my problems.... I'm planning on parking the RV for an awesome tailgate at the same place @ the upper level of the parking garage on the corner of Maryland and Alabama where we tailgated several years ago! Hope to see everyone there! Don't worry, I'll watch the game from my satellite TV in the RV! Hope the weather is still good! More details later.

It is with great sorrow, regret and downright uptight downheartedness that I have to inform all of you great Bronco fans that do to family obligations I will not be able to be there. Mrs. Bum informed me this weekend when the family was all here that I will be "busy" that weekend. I was hoping she meant her, me a bed and some great lube but oh no, that wasn't the case. With this being so close to the holidays we have a Christmas to celebrate. Sorry for this as I was looking forward to seeing all of you but I guess its not to be.

ok so the parking lot where we were last time is FAR from the new stadium.......we would have to leave 45 min before gametime just to get there for kickoff if we walked. grante dits only 5 bucks to park there (at least it was last time) maybe we could tailgate there........then take a few cars over to the stadium? i dunno.......open to ideas.

It's less than a mile walk so not too bad. This assumes this map is correct as to where to you plan to tailgate:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=500+South+Capitol+Avenue+Indianapolis,+IN+46 225&daddr=Maryland+and+Alabama,+indianapolis&hl=en&geocode=FVyxXgIdrEXd-ikJsSdPpFBriDGXffB2ORQGQQ%3BFXLGXgIdjmrd-inFRzypl1BriDHRDzQWaN5G1Q&mra=ls&dirflg=w&sll=39.779783,-86.199589&sspn=0.094985,0.154324&ie=UTF8&ll=39.76293,-86.15727&spn=0.011876,0.01929&z=16

45 mins would be more than enough to walk to the ground, get a beer and get to your seat for the start (or at least it should be!)

4 of us are coming over from Terre Haute, Indiana (near the Illinois border). 3 Broncos and 1 Colt - we so gotta win or won't hear the end of it.

Not sure what our plans are pre-game - just gonna get parked up and 'see what happens'. If you happen to be a random Broncos fan I end up talking to then 'hi' in advance...

Calladah's Irish pub on the corner of Meridian and Jackson is excellent. Great beer and excellent food. Scotty's brewhouse on the corner of Pennsylvania and Virginia is also excellent but get there early as it gets packed.

Yeah, parking garage is about 7-8 blocks and as you know its a nice walk to work the food and beer down. Also great to razz the Colts fans on the way there. But it sucks on the walk back if we lose!:sunshine:

This link is the picture that the Colts photographer took...It's a good picture, I wish it didn't have all that Colts crap all over it, or else it would have been great!
