Big expectations, can Cutler handle the pressure or will he want out.

Pressure of expectations; yes.

Pressure from a crappy O-line and poor receivers; no.

Denver, a team notorious for sucking at the draft, fixed its O-line and WR issues in 2 drafts. Why can't Chicago do the same?

As far as Devin going long, he's going to benefit WAY more on screen plays than he will on the long ball from having Cutler around.

Cutler probably gets the ball out to the sideline 24 times faster than Orton could.

Especially since Devin can't run a route to save his life.

Because we got lucky. If Clady keeps playing at the level he played at this past year he'll be a first ballot Hall of Fame LT. Harris came out of nowhere from back surgery. We replaced, at least temporarily, our possible Hall of Fame center and actually saw equal or improved play over Nalen's couple years of injury and age. We hit on Kuper in the late rounds and Hamilton came back from a career threatening concussion.

Can Chicago do it? Yeah. Will they? Probably not any time soon.

Hester is just overrated as a receiver. Cutler will throw 25 picks next yeaqr.

Orlando Pace at his current age is NOT Ryan Clady, Jay WILL miss that offensive line.

Jay will throw those howitzers in below freezing, snowy temps(way colder than Denver) and break little Devin's tiny fingers. Remember how friggin hard he threw measley screen passes? Thuuump!!!

I could honestly see Cutler struggle this first year and then blossom again.

If Cutler could throw a deep ball to save his life then this would probably be a tough picture to look at.

I could see him take off again but I don't see it happening in the next five years. He'll have to struggle for everything he gets.

And the Bears haven't had a QB that's put up numbers like Cutler in 59 years.....We took 2 years because we have an owner that gives a crap about the offense and a coach that was always excellent at drafting offensive players.

I just love Jay Cutler .... I'm gonna continue to be a fan of his.

Since it's just a pre-season game, I won't even mind if he shows us up this summer. ;D

You might not have heard but Chicago does not have a 1,3,this year or a 1 next year. That might make fixing their recievers and Oline a little problematic.

If they draft a WR, G, LB, and S they will be fine.

BTW I saw a guy at the White Sox game with a Cutler jersey.

My Brother told me they have Cutler Jersey's at Dicks sports when you walk in. I will have to get you guys a pic.

Between Gene and Jay, they'll be fine.
