Wow Rove. Are you the Pot or the Kettle? Who the hell cares if he said it or not? It's damn funny.
Rove: Biden a 'blowhard' and 'liar'
Karl Rove called Joe Biden a “blowhard” and a “liar” in response to some of the vice president’s comments about the Bush administration.
"He’s a serial exaggerator. If I was being unkind I would say he’s a liar, but it’s a habit he ought to drop,” Rove said on FOX News. "You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the vice president of the United States.”
Rove's comments are the harshest and most pointed yet in an ongoing feud between Biden and Bush administration officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney.
The former Bush adviser was referring to Biden’s comments earlier this week on CNN that he and President George W. Bush once had an exchange in the Oval Office, where Bush said, "Well, Joe ... I'm a leader,” and Biden responded: “Mr. President, turn around and look behind you. No one is following.”
"It didn't happen," Rove said. "It's his imagination. It's a made-up, fictional world. He ought to get out of it and get back to reality.”
Rove, who called Biden a “blowhard,” also took aim with Biden’s previous remarks that he had spent "a lot of hours alone" with Bush.
"Joe Biden was never alone with the president for more than few moments," Rove said. "There was staff in the room the whole time."
Biden spokesman Jay Carney told FOX earlier this week, "The vice president stands by his remarks."

LOL
Yeah, who the hell cares if he's telling the truth or not, it makes me laugh.
Sadly this is how our generation thinks of things now.
I find it funny our VP was conveniently in private meetings with Bush both times he claims to have talked to Bush.

Biden has been an idiot for years. He would have been laughed out of our government years ago if not from a state that simply elects people with a "d" by their name.

Perhaps by private meetings he means only him, the President, and Secret Service or other staff? Staff wouldn't really count. They can't tell about any of the **** that goes on.

Perhaps. But it's funny he can talk himself up without it being proved true or not. It's his word against his. Since Biden is a tool to begin with I find it hard to believe.

Rove is right. He's also a backstabbing, ruthless, unprincipled, lying snake in the grass. He and Biden should go bowling. Biden is the guy you meet that always lived his life through Gary Cooper, Clint Eastwood, and Charles Bronson movies and created a fictional life in which he gets to imitate these guys by lying about dealing with people how they do in the movies. It's a sickness, really. Reality is that Biden never had those experieinces and certainly wasn't quick enough on the draw to come up with zingers as he claims. But hey, he's perfect VP material in a fictional presidential administration.

If you keep defending these '"leaders" of your party you will continue to lose...big.
GOP DESPERATELY SEEKING MR. POPULAR
From NBC's Mark Murray
We can tell you one thing about the current Karl Rove-vs.-Joe Biden spat: Democrats are loving every second of it.
Why? Because -- as with Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh before him -- the public has a very sour opinion of Rove. "We're not too worried that Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, and Dick Cheney are battling it out to remain the face of the Republican Party," a Dem strategist emails First Read. "Every time Rove pops up, it just serves to remind people what they wanted to change."
Indeed, Republicans seem to be having a difficult time finding a leader/messenger who doesn't have a net-negative fav/unfav rating go mano a mano with the Obama administration.
An August 2007 Gallup poll showed Rove's standing at 26% favorable, 44% unfavorable. Another Gallup poll early this year had Limbaugh's at 28%-45%. Per the December 2008 NBC/WSJ poll, Cheney's was 21%-58%. George W. Bush's in the NBC/WSJ survey was 31%-58% upon leaving office. Even looking at potential 2012 presidential candidates, Sarah Palin, who speaks at a National Right to Life dinner in Indiana next week, has a 35%-45% fav/unfav, according to the December NBC/WSJ poll.
The only major Republican who has a net-positive rating -- John McCain, who stood at 42%-27% in the March NBC/WSJ survey.
Of course, Democrats struggled to find a leader when they were out of power during the Bush years. Then again, they were always able to turn to the Clintons, whose ratings were much better than those GOP numbers above.

We urgently need to get beyond the partisan squabbling.
The fact is that both parties are corrupt beyond redemption. Both are owned by the power elite of this nation.
We need a much more fundamental restoration of our constitutional system than either party can deliver.
As Thomas Jefferson said: "a revolution every 20 years!"

A Biden/Rove bowling match, no holds barred, I would watch it.

Rove calling someone a liar would be like Heidi Fleiss calling someone a whore.
