When do we show up with pitchforks at dove valley to run Orton out of town?

Do we wait until he named starter or just start calling him a crybaby punk now?

Hey you're welcome!

And it's really something when you actually read the page I linked to, and you comprehend the words on the page, then you would realize that Orton is really a fifth year player who happened to be a fourth round pick.

Research is truly something! ^5

Here's the weird thing.

Is his picture on that page you linked to photoshopped? I mean he's wearing a Broncos jersey with full beard. Yet at his press conference what, 2 days after the trade or so?, he was clean shaven. Did he really shave just for a press conference?

And the point you make changes the following facts how?

Kyle Orton is a member of the Denver Broncos.
Kyle Orton is listed by the Denver Broncos as being #8.
Kyle Orton is a fifth year player.
Kyle Orton was drafted in the fourth round.

Ok, www.denverbroncos.com photoshopped Orton's headshot from last season w/ the Bears to show him in a Bronco jersey, nice pickup! I feel so burned now. ooh it hurts.

Seriously.

What does a booger eater look like? Spaulding Smails looked like a booger eater... and Cutler acted like Spaulding Smails...

"I want a hamburger... NO, a cheeseburger. I want a hot dog."
"you'll have nothing and like it!"

QB Frank Tripucka #18 (1960-63),

why did we retire a guy's number who only played for us for only three years,,,, this was way before my time, I have no idea who that is. Please excuse my lack of knowledge?

He was the team's first quarterback, I believe.

interesting,,,, was he any good? I mean we had a lot of "firsts" when the team was originated, why did we only retire his number?

Because he was a legend in his time. Tripuka was idolized. He threw a lot of passes for TDs and he was the first really really professional QB in Denver. Drew a lot of plays in the dirt. I think he was a ND guy.....

Actually, if we had a Tripuka in his younger days now, I would think he'd be a superstar. At least 2k in our system. But the game is so much different now it would be difficult to project........

He became their first starting quarterback in the regular season and played with the team for four seasons. He was the first U.S. pro quarterback to throw for 3,000 yards in a season. He also threw the first touchdown pass in the history of the AFL. In 1962 he was named to the AFL All Star team.

Tripucka retired in 1963 after 15 profesional seasons. The Broncos subsequently retired his uniform #18.

He is the father of Notre Dame basketball star and Detroit Piston Kelly Tripucka.

Thsi makes sense now
