it's only a thirty minute drive to "Rage". Good for him.

The thing is Garcia nothing like Russell. How does one back up the other when the offenses they need are totally different.

Garcia likes to freelance and run around, Russell you would think wants a more traditional drop back pocket to throw from. IMO this means Raiders are thinking Russell can't play in NFL and after he shows that this yr they will turn whole thing over to Garcia and change the offense to fit him.

He will bring some quality to the QB position in Jokeland--Ja-FAT-US Russell is NOT an NFL QB.

Just great.
If he had played all of last year's TB game, that would've been another loss.

Speaking of ****ty drafting, I wonder how many first round picks the Raiders have crapped out on the last ten years?

Wow, huge improvement for them.

He's already 39 years old. I can't imagine they're going to completely change an offense to fit him after this season.....when he'll turn 40.

Good pickup, about 5 years too late.

SeaBass was the 17th overall pick. And the choice was a running joke around here for 4 years or more.

Also, no one has said it yet - don't shoot the messenger, but

The Broncos went from having the best QB in the AFCW to having the worst in under a week.

Nah....Orton is better than Garcia at this point in their careers for the system the Broncos are going to run. If this was not the case, then Garcia would be a Bronco right now.

Think about it. Why would McDaniels trade for one QB when he could've signed a better one for free?

I'm not so sure Cassel away from NE is better than Orton. We will have to wait and see.

damn. Guys a leader, too...he'll get the raiders stoked up. Maybe the good/bad old days are here again, with fistfights, penalties and ejections.

Lookin' forward to it.

Looks like the average Raider fan will have to withhold their 20 time per game fag jokes when Garcia is in the game.

When Garcia was in Frisco, his alleged gay status (he's not), was the main barb fired from Raider fans to Niner fans.

Now the fag is on their team. What will they do now?

Garcia and the Bucs performed and even bigger gag job than the Broncos did in 2009.

If Stafford falls in the draft... is there any chance the Faiders take him. With this clear message, I dont see how they dont take him.

This is hilarious. There going to ask Garcia, who's got one of the weaker arms in the NFL, to run the Raiders vertical passing attack. Hilarious!

It will be like Detroit and Cleveland all over again!

If given a fair chance (which I don't think he will) Garcia will be the starter.

What??? ? Physical tools, being able to run/bootleg out, sure.

But mentally, toughness, study-wise, leadership-wise, intangibles, and pure stats wise, no.

I can't either....

I'm not sure why any Broncos/AFC West fan would be concerned with this move
