So are you saying smokescreen or no? If youre judging by what NE did, then there arent a lot of USC picks...and not high ones. Of course, you can certainly question how much influence McDaniels had in NE, since there were others influencing the decisions.

It was reported today that he had no influence on the draft at all. The information was brought to Bielicheat and Polie (or however you spell his name) and they made the decision by themselves.

Don't lose faith in the saviour just because he has no experience drafting and we have a cap guy with scouting background as GM. If we manage to trade Cutler for enough draft picks we should be able to get at least one decent player if we just use the profootballweekly scouting reports, by pure chance.
