Sassy I am at the airport right now, I work here. Things look great so far they have the runways clear.

Plan for delays though. With de-icing and the storm intensifying they will be closing alternating runways to clear them off which lowers the amount of landings.

Your only issue may be the blizzard conditions. That may force cancellations.

U.S. 287, I-25 closed north of Fort Collins
http://www.coloradoan.com/article/20090326/UPDATES01/90326032

The state has closed U.S. Highway 287 and Interstate 25 as a blizzard pummels Northern Colorado.

U.S. 287 is closed between Ted's Place and the Colorado-Wyoming state line. I-25 is closed at the Wellington exit, with dispatchers reporting a 20- to 30-car pileup near the Colorado-Wyoming state line.

A state patrol trooper reporting whiteout conditions as far south as the Anheuser-Busch plant.

Roads are also deteriorating rapidly in Fort Collins, with cars spinning out and traffic speeds down to 15 mph in parts of the city. Wind is blowing snow horizontally.

The city is on accident alert, which means drivers should hold off on calling police for accidents without injuries, no drug or alcohol involvement, or damage less than $500.

Plenty of bite to the north and west of Denver (e.g. Boulder). Both the Turnpike and 93 up from Golden are closed. I'd guess around 12" have fallen so far plus winds are 25-30mph.

I'm watching my neighbor trying to shovel his driveway enough to get his minivan in the garage, he's wrapped up like an Eskimo, he gets half of the driveway shoveled, and by the time he gets the second half shoveled the first half is impassable again.

You want to why I'm not helping him? Because 12 months ago he shamed me and a couple other neighbors into helping move his piano into his BASEMENT, insisting it would stay there until the end of time. Have you ever tried to move a piano into a basement? Then, six months ago what happened? Uh-huh, we had to move the piano back upstairs, exactly what we all told him don't ask us to do. He's on his own on this one.

THATS pretty funny! Although it's also sad, because unfortunately on snow days that's all I do. Shovel sidewalks. Wait for them to get covered again. Shovel sidewalks. wait for them to get covered again.

All because some people will sue the county if they don't have enough foresight to wear boots when it's BLIZZARDING outside, and proceed to fall on the one patch of ice that I might have missed.

People are amazing.
