We've had the preliminary and the top two choices were selected. We'll either slow the draft and add the official picks or do nothing at all. There was a three way tie for the three ways to add the picks. Since Alf and I are running it and we both voted for "slowing the draft" I've decided that we're the tie breaker.

I could go either way. Denver does not have any picks, so not adding them behooves me. However, adding them makes the mock more realistic.

So, I will abstain from voting.

I would like to passive aggressively protest.

Wasn't the earlier vote an overwhelming majority to just use the projected picks?

I know an easier way out of this. Just count up how many teams get comp picks. Those team GMs will want the comps added. Then count how many teams don't get comp picks. They won't want them added. Then, you've got your numbers. ;D

nope. It was split. 6 votes for stopping the draft and waiting for the official one. 6 votes for slowing the draft until the official one, and 6 votes for using the official list. 14 votes for no comp picks at all and one vote that doesn't count from ApaOpps for "other."

That's 12 for using the "real" list, which immediately eliminates the projected option. The only question is how to address the real list. Since Alf and I both voted for slowing it down, I gave the tie to that "version" since we're running it and I say so.

Oh.

Well anyways, I'll refrain from voting. I don't particularly care for not using the compensatories, but I have equal disdain for slowing down/stopping.

This is very close. The picks being added has a two vote lead (Breaker's vote doesn't count.) I'll wait until later tomorrow or when everyone's voted that wants to, whichever comes first, and then we'll use those results going forward.

Ok I'm going to take the results right now. The people have decided to extend the draft and use the official picks. Therefore, we will be temporarily extending the time to select picks to 24 hours. If we reach the end of the round before the official comp picks are announced,(since most people don't use their whole amount of time, and we're pretty close as is) we will pause the draft with the last pick in the third until the official list is announced next week. Thanks for voting!

I already have a copy.

Not only are they the official results, they've changed how they do it.

For Calvin Pace I was actually awarded the 6th pick overall in the draft.

So now I will steal a player from another participant.

Thank you very much. Proceed everyone.
