View Full Version : I went to Dove Valley Today

I went to lunch with my Mom and was near Dove Valley so I figured I'd drive by. FYI the Broncos Store is only open Fri and Sat until May.

Things I Noticed:

1. Dove Valley has not yet physically imploded, it remains standing
2. What appeared to be the players lot was pretty full at about 2:00
3. I saw through the trees some people on a practice field...could have been players, could have been the staff enjoying the nice weather
4. There was a sprinkler on, indicating that the Broncos are commited to maintaining the vegitation, most likely to practice on for the 2009 season. As such I am convinced the Broncos will indeed field a team in 2009.
5. There is a lot of tree cover surronding the practice field, this would make it difficult to set up a sniper position for potential hits of coaching staff, on the practice field. The main entrance is only obscured by the multitude of telivision crews standing outside, however provides minimal concelement to set up sniper position. The gated in lot would be the optimal place for a hit as it is a funnel and on exit the driver would be clearly visible depending on lighting. It is also furthest from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office and decent concelment is avaliable across the street.
6. The facility is huge, I am convinced Jay and McD can fit both their egos into the buildings.
7. If Brett Favre comes out of retirement he can charter a private jet directly into Centennial Airport and enjoy a minor commute to the Facility, as opposed to having a news helicopter escort for miles as I'm sure would happen on his way from DIA.
8. The store was closed so I don't have any inside info to gather by noticing a Cutler Jersey is on sale...thus he is for sure being traded.
9. I drove and could not gain inside info on the Light Rail.

But seriously the building is occupied I'm pretty sure the Denver Broncos Football Club will play in 2009 no matter what happens player wise.

I use to salute the building every time I drove by it but I flipped the building off Friday and again yesterday. Until the situation is resolved in a way that I approve of I will continue to flip the building off every time I drive by it.

Me neither. And if they want the birds to stop coming their way, they better resolve this **** in an acceptable way.

Or left a quart of Mad Dog in a bag outside the main door.

PS...If you ever get locked up in Arapahoe County Jail, demand one of the south buildings. Great View of the practice fields from the corner of the shutters.

I'd claim that you are lying here, but then BroncoInferno would make me prove it.....and frankly I'm too tired to try.

All lies. It's clear you're a tool of management. I heard there's a revolt going on for Jay! And that the team complex is smouldering rubble.Ha!

I will anyways, it is 90,000 sq feet. The White house is 55,000 sq feet. That means if they divide the facility in half they would each have only 10,000 sq feet less than the President of the United States of America. However he has to share that space with his family, so with the fact we can assume that even if they have a strong marriage the First Lady really has the run of about 75% of it. Leaving 13,750 of the White House for the President's ego. That leaves Jay and McD with 15,625 sq feet more than the president (each).

Keep in mind that the President holds the ability to launch Nuclear weapons, can interrupt my favorite TV shows, to ramble on about whatever he pleases, has a fleet of Helicopters, and the White House is full of grown up furniture, even his Camp David Retreat has the ability to wage war, order Prime Rib at 3:00 AM, and still interupt my TV shows at will. That's a pretty big ego.

Surely Dove Valley has enough space.
