View Full Version : What if Vick is made available ?

Since the cutler situation is going down the drain and there is no good or exceptional QB's in this draft.. How many of them in OM are ok with having vick on board ?

I hate what he did and dont like him personally.. But if he is made available to play in NFL again.. I think i can give him a short 2 yr contract and see how he does.

Since the options left as FA's are garcia and leftwich.. with other 1'zs and 2'zs

No

I'd rather run the single wing and simply not pass the ball.

Mcdaniels likes qbs to operate from the pocket most of the time. He wouldn't be interested in a QB like Vick or Garcia IMO.

MV is one of the worst QBs ive ever seen, maybe if he was a scat back or something but his is the most inaccurate thrower ive seen, and I'm sure it has got worse with all this time off. I heard the UFL is gonna make a big run at him and I'm sure they will pay him the most.

Sure. Bring him in. I've got some dogs that would like to meet him.

Absolutely not! I would turn in my tickets in a hearbeat. There's no way in hell I would ever support a team, including the Broncos, that would have that piece of crap on their team.

No.

I'd rather have Tavaris Jackson
I'd rather have Gus Frererotte
I'd rather have Chris Simms
I'd rather have Darrell Hackney
I'd rather have The Player To Be Named Later...

Oh sure, why not sign Pacman too.

Hahaha.... good, this is something i expected. Since we in denver are used to atleast not having social offenders on our team. If we said NO to ray lewis.. i did not doubt for a second that people will say no to vick either.

Sorry if this was asked before. But if and only IF cutler is traded.. who in open market can lead the broncos ? apart from chris simms... whom should we sign

Wait a second. I think this guy is onto something here. Think about it.

We could have gotten Ray lewis, Pacman and Vick. Nobody but the feds would have ****ed with us.

No, to the hell NO. I'd quit watching or cheering the Broncos for the duration of Vick's career in the orange & blue.

He has a nice arm but tends to fumble, hand scars and all

He's not a smart, tough football player who is poised under pressure. Pass (something Vick doesn't do well).

typical DBBBSBS thread ...

worst idea ever, no offense, but this thread needs to be shut down and here's why:
-Whoever picks up Vick picks up a huge financial responsibility
-Denver, and colorado as a whole, is voted one of the most dog
friendly places in the US, he'd never gain support.
-He's horrible, and I used to be a huge Vick fan
-Simms is a decent QB if we have to go with something besides
CUT, and he could definitely out pass Mike "I hate dogs" Vick.

We would be better off with a drunk, stoned version of Rex Grossman. I do not want Michael Vick within 2000 miles of the quarterback position in Denver.

End of thread.
