Hi. New people, welcome to the Mane.

Please respect the 100 post rule. This rule exists to prevent the creation of multiple threads on the same subject, and also allows us to get to know you before you pop off and post something ridiculous. In years past this was a friendly rule that everyone respected. Due to the recent upsurge in new posters, if you do not abide the 100 post rule, Spider will visit you, and you will get to see his "throatpunch" in the flesh.

Thanks, and have a SUPER day.

So you have seen our Cutler V. McDaniels threads?

I never got the 100 post rule. I believe in quality over quantity. Yes if someone is just going to spam the board or start a thread without using the search function, but if the person has a normal, valid post I think it should be fine.

There are so many stupid threads on here and other message boards started with users that have way more than 100 post count.

A good rule of thumb...

When posting a new thread on Bronco news. If the 'breaking' news is more than 3 minutes old....chance are there have been at least 3 posters who have started threads before you on this very subject.

Think people! This board is full of people who have nothing better to do than scan news feeds, other forums and credible internet sources such as PFT and WPI.

It would help keep the trolls at bay.

I was a violator of the 100 post rule, so I can not judge, however I can give some advice to those who break it, it takes a while to earn a good rep with all the veterans and dig yourself out fo the whole you put yourself into.

Uh, this is not a real rule. It's just something somebody said once and gets parrotted.

There is no actual 100 post rule.

100 post "rule" is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on a forum...ever. And that's saying something considering all the dumb things one encounters on the Internets.

I think any named HAT should be required to wait until the 500th post before starting threads.

And should not be allowed to post at all until he reaches 200 posts

Easy now Baja....I wouldn't want to have to wait until 2011 until I can start a thread.

I've seen more bad threads come recently from people that have more than 1000 posts.. Like what was said above use the search first before you post..

Oddly enough I support this post without the rule having been actually explained.
