Just wondering, guys...

Also, is Mark Sanchez better than Cutler? Do you think he is a future H.O.F QB?

-Lex + all the other dumb thread starters at OM.

Yeah yeah, I'm part of them now right? I'll take the fall!

NO - not anywhere near as good as Haynesworth. In fact, he's not much better (if at all better), than the other recent top DTs in the draft, Glen Dorsey, Amobi Okoye, Broderick Bunkley. The difference here - and this is what makes Raji so enticing - is that we're switching to a 3-4, we have no 3-4 NTs now, and unlike those three I mentioned, he is perfectly suited to the position. That's what makes this guy so very attractive: his ability + our need combined.

Plus ... just look what a nice young man he is:

How can you say no to that face?

Raji may very well turn into a great NFL DT, but as mentioned before, I thought Glen Dorsey would be pretty good also. Last year wasn't exactly stellar for him.

Sometimes it takes a few years to switch from being a "boy" to a "man." Bunkley looked like a muscle freak at the combine, but it has even taken him a few years to learn how to compete in the NFL. Raji should be the same.

If he has a good d-line coach and a good supporting cast, he should turn out ok.

This entire post is frickin whack man.

How in the hell do you know if somebody from college is going to be a good pro? If anybody knew for sure then there would be no such thing as a draft bust.

Is Sanchez better then Cutler - dude, if you're bored or lonely, try calling

I think he's making a stab at another similar thread or 2.

He's not legitimately asking the questions

Haynesworth is only a great DT in contract years. Raji has not played in the NFL, and rarely does a first round defensive line prospect make an impact in the NFL. It took Mario Williams a few years, same with Julius Peppers and even the "great" Haynesworth.

Way to fly off the handle, though.
