Agent Drew Rosenhaus claims that "several teams are interested in signing" his client, Terrell Owens.

"Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner," Rosenhaus said. The Broncos are looking like a big sleeper to pursue Owens. The Raiders are tentatively expected to show interest.

I hope not, our locker room isn't strong enough to handle him........

The only way I see the Broncos after Owens is if they believe Marshall will be suspended for some games. Other than that, I don't see them interested in him at all.

Just who we need mentoring Brandon... /puke

At least we all know Jay wouldn't put up with his ball hog ****.

I will admit though that if TO actually WAS A CLASS ACT... Marshall + Owens and Royal in the slot would be pretty crazy.

TO's definitely lost some catching ability though.

TO is a disaster waiting to happen. He's the apple in the Garden of Eden. But one stat that's hard to look away from is his 38 TD receptions over the last 3 seasons which is more than any other receiver in the league. Even past his prime he's still a top 10 player at the position. If you could get him on meds it could work!

To be fair though he had 30% of all balls thrown his way his first year in Dallas then a little able 25% his last two years. Also last year I think he had more TD's and yards than the other WR's COMBINED... he wouldn't be the "go to all the time" guy over here.

I'm not, all they have to do is talk to Dawkins about what an ass he is. That and wasn't Nolan the DC when 2 refused to go to the Ravens?

On Mike and Mike this morning, I thought they said that every team has come out and say they are not interested except the Raiders. Drew is probably trying to create more money for his client. Though, teams do lie.

I don't know, guys. How much patience in McD going to show for BMarsh? But in the battle of head cases. I would take the one we have now instead of TO, I guess.

Good point on Dawkins, he is an eye witness to the TO debacle in Philly. Although TO worked out well the first year he was there (they went to the Super Bowl and McNabb had his best year ever) and if McNabb wasn't such a candy azz things may have gone better there. That being said, I'm not sure Jay is any better equipped to handle him than McNabb was.

If, indeed, we have a new mind set of "no one's bigger than the Team" in New Eng, err, Denver, I don't see TO fitting the mold-I mean, can he do a Randy Moss? (do his job and shut his pie hole?)-I don't think so-

Thank god.

This is completely asinine anyway, we have probably one of the the least needs for a WR of any team out there, and who would want to deal with his BS.

He is a perfect fit for the Raiders though.

So far every player signed by mcDaniels and X man have been locker room building players TO does not seem the type of player they want. McDaniels has said over and over he want's role players in his the 'team is everything' philosophy. I don't see TO coming here.

Except when you factor in a Brandon Marshall suspension which is unfortunately very likely.

Do we know enough to make the judgement that a Marshall suspension is very likely?

TO 2nd in drops in the league last year...doesn't Brandon do enough of that on his own? (and a locker room cancer...NO!)

No, probably not, but there are plenty of opinions like this one out there:

Broncos WR Marshall could face lengthy suspension
By Dan Parr
March 5, 2009
While the Broncos are cleaning up the mess made by the Jay Cutler trade rumors, sources say much of the bluster about that situation has been overblown. A more serious concern, for the club, we hear, is a potentially lengthy suspension that could await Denver’s No. 1 receiver, Brandon Marshall. After he was arrested for disorderly conduct in Atlanta, the charge against Marshall was dismissed on March 2, but as a player who repeatedly has violated the league’s personal-conduct policy, word is that the Broncos’ Pro Bowler could be facing as much as an eight-game suspension. Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Marshall for two games but reduced it to just one game at the start of last season for his repeated transgressions, which included a DUI and being charged with battery. Many had then expected Marshall to face a longer punishment, and the suspension seemed lenient to some. Goodell may be inclined to be much harsher this time, which would be a major hindrance to Denver’s offense for a good portion of next season.

Honestly, i think so.

All Pac Man and Chris Henry had to do was sneeze wrong and they would face a suspension. I think Marshall's situation is similiar in that the reason he got it shortened to 2 games instead of the initial 3 was that Goodell wanted Brandon to stay out of trouble. Well, that didnt happen.
