Per Adam Schefter Kurt Warner agreed to 2 year contract worth 23 mil (19 guaranteed).

Where are all those folks that said he was crazy for wanting around $8 mil a year for 2 years, thinking he wasn't going to get even close to that? I'll bet he's glad you're not his agent.

He got more then that in guarrented money, alone. Warner made out well on this one.

good for kurt. taking the cards to a super bowl is a monumental achievement, and if they keep the wr corps together, he could do it again in a weak nfc. best of all, we don't have to watch matt leinart play the quarterback position.

hahaha... a real vote of no-confidence in Leinert.... for that kind of money, Warner starts for the next 2 seasons....

The Cards should trade Leinert now, or else he walks for nothing in 2 years....

There is a team out there that just tried trading its starting QB for a former USC QB but that deal fell through.

GOD said to Kurt: Don't take $20 million, don't take $24 million--take TWENTY THREE MILLION!

Why does this thread have an "OT" in front of it? I thought OT meant "off topic" as in non-football related.

Probably because it involves the Cardinals .... and it's just a habit to think that anything they do only marginally involves the NFL.

How in the heck did they get to the Super Bowl anyway?
