5 minutes into their game tonight, Caps 2-0. Jagr 1 and 1 so far and Lang w/ an assist. That puts their point streaks at 12 and 16 games respectively. Of course the Caps as a team still suck ass.

Ahhhh, I don't know. 1st year there he was like 2nd or 3rd in points per game, but was hurt and missed like 15 games and had about the same amount where he played hurt. Last year, not really. This year it looks like he's playing hard at even, PK, and PP, but that might just be because he expects to get traded.

I know Leonsis can't afford it though. They're in no danger of missing payroll like the Pens or Sens were, so they don't have to trade him. DC just isn't a hockey town and his salary limits what they can do.

After the lockout year next season and a moderated salary cap put in place, what US City is going to even maintain hockey? When you make the same $$'s playing here as in Europe? Buh Bye....

When the Devils and Avs skate to an OT 1-1 Tie and Joe Sakic comes out and says it was the most boring game he ever skated in, well, as much as I love the sport it just doesn't appear to have a future in this country. Maybe we'll become the minor leagues for the powerhouses overseas.

I do Philly, you guys knocked my Leafs out last year. Tough, high scoring team. Still have questions in net in my opinion, go sign Cujo, you have a real shot at CUP.

I hope you're taking the Leafs seriously, cause they're a different team than last season.
