Crazy. He's been one of their best role players for the past decade.

Maybe with McDaniels leaving they're changing some stuff on offense. If he hits the market I'd think we'd be very interested.

I wonder if they are targeting someone like Lesean McCoy in the 1st

40 or not, he's the best 3rd Down Back in the NFL.

bring him in, then Hillis will have a truly legit shot at being our starting RB without having to be relegated to being the teams version of Kevin Faulk.

because as it stands now, i am thinking our RB situation will be draft pick or FA as the starter, Young as a change of pace and Hillis as our short yardage, goal line and passes out of the backfield, and occasionally lining up in the slot or as a TE.

but if we get Faulk to do the things Hillis is probably in line to do now, Hillis can become the starter and Faulk can do what he did in NE for us.

thank god....I was getting worried that the mane had lost it's touch... we are still missing the break 2k line, but I am sure it's coming.

for the record, he would add great depth here and I am all for it if mcdaniel's is into it.

Vet minimum/bonuses.

We need an impact RB somewhere in the draft. Torain=ACL=done.

I would much rather bring in LT with a performance bonus.

Hillis, same role, I'm a big fan, but he's not a feature back.

Green in the 3rd.

Shonn Greene probably won't make it to the third round. I think the top 6 RB's will be gone by the third round, and i would include Greene in that number.

I know...but I imagine if we get him, the lombardi will be up in three posts or less

Kevin Faulk is a poor man's Peyton Hillis.

Mcdaniels offense threw alot to the RBS. Faulk could come in and not only catch balls out of the backfield, but also show other rbs how it is done.

When I look at Broncos offense the logically areas to try and add to it our with the rbs. More carries, but also more balls thrown to them. IMO that really keeps the front 7 off balance and second guessing there coverage schemes.

there nothing alike really. Ones is shifty the other is a bruiser.

I'd say more accurate is Selvin Young is a poor mans Kevin Faulk.

Faulk would be a great short term pick up. He had 507 rush yds averaging 6.1per carry, and 58 rec for 486 yds last year. That's great production from a part time RB. If he gets cut I'd think we'd be on the phone with his agent within minutes.

Wasn't Faulk just busted for Pot or DUI or something else bad?

We have prospects at RB, I would rather pay the old guy from the Jags than this overthe hill 3rd down back.

I'm guessing he'll resign for less.

We are a young, changing team, let's try to find the "new" best 3rd down back, instead of living with the discards of older veterns by other teams.

Both have as much potential receiving as they do rushing, which makes them very similar. Peyton has far greater potential as a rusher, and better hands.

what prospects do we have? we have Hillis an then nothing.

Torain is made of glass and i would be willing to bet he doesn't make it out of camp, Hall sucks, Young sucks, who else is left?

we don't have anything but Hillis at RB and who even knows if McDaniels wants to play him at RB.
