Broncos running back Ryan Torain's biggest challenge in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee: restraint.
He already has done some treadmill work and ridden a stationary bike.
The next big step in his recovery comes soon.
"I'm probably about a week away from starting jogging drills and a doing a few agility drills," Torain said. "I've just got to be patient with it."
He was injured in a Nov. 7 game at Cleveland. His latest rehabilitation has been "long" and comes after two others stemming from a college foot injury and a dislocated elbow suffered in training camp.
"It's probably one of the easier ones," he said. "The foot was the hardest to get over. I couldn't walk for a couple months. So that was a struggle."
Torain is expected to be ready for training camp and possibly some mini-camp work.
Good to hear I hope he turns out to be the real deal
