One thing that these changes mean. It means that Denver will finish 4-12 and in last place in the AFC West.

19-0.

WAY too early to tell, but right now I'm pretty pessimistic. 6-10

If we get Peppers, have a few defensive rookies make an impact, and stabilize the running game (with Hillis, Torain, or a rookie), we could go 10-6 with a wildcard round win.

Without knowing what our defense is going to look like, I couldn't guess. I'd like to think that we'd take a step forward instead of a step backwards.

Next year freaks me out, with the schedule and the coaching/scheme changes, but I can't bring myself to vote for anything lower then 10-6.
I believe!

I put 3-13... Which is depressing.

But our schedule is ridiculously hard next year.

I'd rather pick low and be surprised. I just think we have too much to do to turn around in 1 yr. I think 6-10 is my guess right now.

i see it this way. the offense will likely get better, and the defense really CANT get worse. this means we will probably improve on our 08 record, but prolly not by much. i see 9-7, 10-6 on the way. no doom and gloom here!

BroncoMan4ever
02-18-2009, 09:44 PM
i say 11-5. it is impossible to imagine our defense being worse than it was this year, even with all the turnover. plus if we add a RB or Hillis is named the man, we are 3 games better than last season.

7-9

Look at our schedule... seriously look at it.

With the rebuilding we have going on and our wretched schedule I'll be happy at 7-9 and Taylor Mays next draft.

That said... I expect a division crown with 11-5 to 12-4 and a serious Super Bowl run the following year.

our schedule looks brutal now, but that will be completely different next season.

JJJ
02-18-2009, 10:18 PM
9-7 or 10-6 and you win the division. Offense will be able to outgun most opposing offenses and I think the new defense will surprise early and disappoint late in the season.

ZONA

8-8 and that's only cuz the AFC West sucks. I think our offense is gonna be lights out but I don't see the defense improving a ton next year due to a new scheme and new coaches. I think we will still improve on defense (how can you not) but with that brutal schedule, I just can't see better then 8-8. The good news is that it's quite possible that record could still get us into the playoffs.

I think a great sign next year would be 8-8 but in the 8 losses, being competitive. Maybe losing by 7 points here, 3 there, etc. If we do that, I think we did well in the draft this year along with FA's and the coaches and mgmt are doing good. I don't want to see any 46-10 scores next year. **** THAT.

I'm pretty down on the team right now, that combined with what looks like a tough schedule I went with 7-9.

I hope for better but I think it might take a couple of years to get teh defence together.

11-5. I'm an optimist. Never know how things turn around.

I will guess an 8-8 year.

Tough schedule and new offensive and defensive schemes.

with a brutal schedule and a defensive rebuild it's not going to be pretty

I have to agree with the above, it's not going to be much fun with the schedule we have this year.

Look at last season though - nobody predicted what actually happened.

Cowards.

Where's my 16-0 option?

Home: Kansas City Chiefs (W), San Diego Chargers (L), Oakland Raiders (W), Cleveland Browns (W), Pittsburgh Steelers (L), New England Patriots (W), Dallas Cowboys (L) and New York Giants (L).

Away: Kansas City Chiefs (W), San Diego Chargers (L), Oakland Raiders (W), Baltimore Ravens (L), Cincinnati Bengals (W), Indianapolis Colts (L), Philadelphia Eagles (L) and Washington Redskins (W).

Be generous it was a struggle to get to 8 wins. Need to sweep KC and OAK, beat the Pats (we play them tough), go to Washington and win.

Can we get a friggin' break with the 'Pats? For crissakes...how many times do we play those a-s hats?

Can't make a legitimate guess until after FA and the draft.

6-10 and that's assuming that our defense improves, which is debatable. Our offense is going to take a step back with a new offensive system being implemented.

People who think we are going to win a bunch of games need to look at our schedule:

Home: Kansas City Chiefs W, Oakland Raiders W, San Diego Chargers L, Cleveland Browns W, Pittsburgh Steelers L, New England Patriots L, Dallas Cowboys L, New York Giants L

Away: Kansas City Chiefs L, Oakland Raiders W, San Diego Chargers L, Baltimore Ravens L, Cincinnati Bengals W, Indianapolis Colts L, Philadelphia Eagles L, Washington Redskins W

6-10

Our offense is going to take a step back with a new offensive system being implemented, but our defense can only be better.

People who keep looking at schedule need to remember that last year's schedule never means as much this year as everybody thought it would.

Home: Kansas City Chiefs W, Oakland Raiders W, San Diego Chargers W, Cleveland Browns W, Pittsburgh Steelers L, New England Patriots L, Dallas Cowboys W, New York Giants W

Away: Kansas City Chiefs L, Oakland Raiders W, San Diego Chargers L, Baltimore Ravens L, Cincinnati Bengals W, Indianapolis Colts L, Philadelphia Eagles W, Washington Redskins W

10-6

Fixed.

we are going to be starting 9 new starters on D if the papers are right and they have thew out there that those players are not a for sure . that mean we may be starting a season with 12 new starters .

I'll take that bet. How about $100 per game over/under 6 wins?

What!? I think Cutler and Marshall can win us at least 8 games with a Bad D

no it is a good thing IMO to go 3-4 I been wanting to go back for some time and that means gutting the team we have now .

Meh, you fire Shanahan for an 8-8 season. McKid needs to win the Super Bowl this year. He was brought in to win.

That's the attitude of a loser, and that's exactly what Denver is doing.
