It's pretty amusing to read the expert opinions from people on an industry they admittedly have no experience, whatsoever. I've never quite understood the insatiable urge to get mixed up in subjects that one really doesn't understand.

With a "tip", it's one of the few ways people can actually contribute direct feedback to a business they patronize and know that their feedback is actually being paid attention to. So no doubt, there are those that use that as an opportunity to power trip and pretend that they are somehow making a difference when they leave a crap tip.

It's been a cardinal rule since the caveman days - do NOT f@ck with or insult those who are bringing you food. When will people ever learn?
