While I would be stoked with Delmas in the Second. Lesean Mccoy would be hard to pass on..

According to that draft, DEN could still get Shonn Greene or Rashard Jennings in the 3rd, so in his fantasy world, DEN could still be OK. But yeah McCoy would be HUGE.

DEN needs to somehow get another 2nd rounder, and bad. There are 3 teams with 2 2nds

If the Chiefs get Curry, a lot of Chiefs fans will be sad.

I can't see how a LB would help that team enough. They need a LT,QB, or DE.

Wow, Raji and Delmas. I would love that draft.

Ditto...

Unfortunately i don't see any way that we get this lucky. IMO raji won't make it past Green Bay @ 9

They did take Justin Harrell, a 320lb DT in the 1st round in '07. Maybe they think he can be an NT, and I'm not sure they want that much money tied up in DTs. Then again, who knows?

Ideal. If this happens, I just may shed tears of joy

I agree with that.

Unfortunately, this is exactly how I see the draft playing out picks 1-11. We are going to be there right when the level of players move down a notch.

I'm just hoping that Oakland is desperate for OL help and picks up Oher instead of Maclin.

If BJ and Maualuga are the only guys left, it's pretty clear... trade back if we can. If not, we're screwed because we'll have to take somebody much earlier than we would normally have to.

I wonder how a Raji, and Brace selection would go over here?

A waste? Can they both play in the 3-4?

I would love Delmas, but I like Mccoy as well.

I agree with the notion of trading back if Nolan isn't sold on the abilities of Maualuga. To acquire another 2nd rounder would be stellar. Patriots might look to move up, and since they have 2 2nd rounders that might be an option. We could get the 23rd and 47th overall pick. Would be nice to pick back-to-back in the second round. I think people have a tendency to focus largely on Maualuga's flashy play rather than his consistency. Sure, he will blow up people a good bit, but he also does mess up a lot. Is this fixable, of course. A lot of times, it seems like Maualuga is moving faster than his body can contain his movements, basically out of control. I initially loved Maualuga, but I watched a couple of his games that I had Tivo'd and realized that he's the type of player who is fun to watch, but not his every moves. But, I have all the faith in the world in Martindale and Nolan in deciding if they think they can transform Maualuga into a complete NFL ILB, and if they believe they can, that's more than enough for me.

screw that, i rank rank both Greene and Jennings above McCoy. i like McCoy, but i don't like his measurables. we have been going with guys on the lighter side for too long, i think it is time to get a big bruiser to carry the rock, and i see McCoy as more of a change of pace guy. if we already had our big RB i'd be cool with the pick, but otherwise no thanks.

and i know someone is going to bring up Hillis. While i like him a lot and thought he was the best RB we had last season, i like him more in the H-Back role, than as our starting RB.

McCoy reminds me of CP. Can run and catch. Excellent one cut and go type of player. Needs to bulk up a little coming into the league, just like CP needed to.

I would be jumping in the air if the first two rounds go like that.

Raji and Delmas would be sick.

Best scenario is we move down to 18-22 and add a second rounder. Take Tyson Jackson in the first, Ron Brace with our second and a DE/OLB hybrid or DB with the added pick.

At least that's how I see it 11 weeks from the draft.

Not a chance Harrell is a bust

I'd cry. Like BPC, this is also an illustration of why trading down is a good option. Look at all those ****ing players. Holy cow, I hope we get more picks.

To be fair, you were all over the idea of trading down last year as well and that would have left us without Clady, which would have really sucked.

Obviously every year is different, but I do think that sometimes people get overly enamored with the idea of moving down and getting more picks.

Raji does seem good value at #12 if he's there, with our desperate need for a DT picking him makes and awful lot of sense.
