Does anyone else find it a little funny that, in that Kay commercial, she is painting her "universal symbol of greed and commercialism" and is looking at it, astonished, like she is just painting it for the first time... However, while she is making the painting, she is wearing the damn Kay necklace! So that says to me, either:

A. They meant the commercial to be her making that painting for the first time, and screwed up by putting the necklace on her.

or

B. They are implying that the lady just paints that same symbol every day and is fascinated by it each and every time.

Funny thing is... you KNOW there are people out there buying that necklace... in fact, there are probably a LOT of people doing it...

I don't know, but those commercials are beyond stupid.

It's like one time, when my son was about 3, he drew me a picture of a smiley face. I told him he drew the greatest smiley faces I had ever seen. For the next year, I was given about five smiley faces a day, and expected to hang them all over my office. When I see Jane Seymore, carefully drawing her cute little symbol, that's what I always think of. Only she's in her 50's.
