Yes/No poll forthcoming.

For my money that was one hell of a Super Bowl, although I'm still debating last year's vs. this one.

The final five minutes of this one was outstanding although the ending really irritated me.

Though last year when Plax caught the TD and Brady got buried for the final time was pretty epic for me.

What are your thoughts?

If no, which Super Bowl was the best in your opinion? (Non Bronco Bowls only)

In recent years, Rams/Titans was pretty nice. As was Pats/Panthers.

this is what football...partic. the SUPERBOWL should be. the best two teams facing off in an epic battle that comes down to the wire. Classic. In 15 years the Holmes catch will be this generations Montana to Clark catch.

Was it me or was the Warner to Fitz long TD reminiscent of Montana to Rice? Same route, same pattern, same result.

Ok, I went "Yes" just because of the two incredible lead changes and drama over the final 3 minutes.

Either way it was a great game!

I thought it was great to watch. Much more exciting than last year.

I voted yes. This was a fantastic Superbowl to watch. Little bummed about the outcome but at least Arizona represented well in their first Superbowl.

Too bad the refs ****ed em. :) (Thats for that douche ninjatime or whatever).

Rams/Titans was boring for 3 quarters, only the 4th was exciting. Buffalo-Giants was a very good one, last years, for a variety of reasons was excellent. This years was a good game but I don't think it's the best, after Bronco SB's.

If you are a true Broncos fan then the greatest non bronco winning super bowl was Bucs-Raiders in 2003.

Last year's was the best IMO
The Rams - Titans was kickass as well

But I liked last year's because I almost cried I was so happy to see the Patriots lose

That's true as far as seeing the Raiders get humiliated, but that one wasn't much of a game.

This year was one hell of a good game, and although I didn't like the outcome I can't knock the fact that it was one heck of an entertaining football game to watch.

No way that was like rooting for the Raiders on both sides with Chucky just moving to TB

Just from a football fan perspective, that Superbowl was boring as hell. It was fun as a Bronco fan to watch Gannon throw more TDs to the wrong team than his own team, but from a football non-bias perspective it was boring.

Rams/Titans and this one were the two best since the Denver/GB one. Last years was exciting for about 10 minutes. But other than that I found it mostly boring. I was glad of the result, dont get me wrong, but it wasnt all that fun to watch until the end. In fact, every one of NEs superbowls have been like that. Boring until the end.

This year's for me was excting all the way through. Arizona almost pulled off the biggest comeback in Superbowl history.

I think tonight was a better game in terms of pure entertainment/what happened on the field. When you factor in the history at stake in last years game, though, Pats-Giants is almost impossible to top.

tonight's game was great, but it didn't top 32 and 42....

it might be better than the pats/rams SB...

The Super Bowl outside of Bonocland was Super Bowl 24.

1988 - 49ers vs Bengals
1990 - Giants vs Bills
1999 - Titans vs Rams
2001 - Pats vs Rams
2003 - Pats vs Panthers
2007 - Giants vs Pats
2008 - Steelers vs Cards

Other oldschool ones:
1978 - Steelers vs Cowboys
1970 - Colts vs Cowboys...though not a well played game.

No,

My favorite non-bronco superbowl is 1999 Titans/Rams.

Then goes

2nd- Giants / PAts last year
3rd- Buccaneers spanking the hated Raiders. I know it was a blow out, but it was the case of a #1 offense vs #1 defense. And I love it when the Defense comes out on top.
4th- Ravens vs Giants, same reason as above

The lead changes and how down to the wire the game went made this one the best in recent memory.

Giants & Bills 1990.

Outside of the Broncos, my favorites

1990-Giants/Bills
1968-Jets/Colts
2007-Giants/Pats
2001-Pats/Rams
1988-49er/Bengals
2008-Cards/Steelers
1978-Steelers/Cowboys

Of course I may be prejudice as to "exciting" as far as who I was rooting for also. And I just didn't see the Rams/Titans above any of these, it was boring as hell for the first 3 quarters. I did love the Bucs-Raiders but it was not a tight exciting game

Yeah, the game in itself was pretty awesome, and had a lot of game changing plays and really made the fans wonder who was going to win the game down the stretch. I just wish I wasn't rooting for the Cards....

no SB played in a dome on artificial turf should ever be considered among the greatest(*).

Ya they should be played in Snow and Cold and Mudd, but since they never will, we will have to put the conditions aside.

For a non-Bronco Best Super Bowl, I'll have to go with the St Louis vs Tennessee Bowl. That one came down to that final play by Tennessee that was a foot short of the goal line. Can't get more exciting than that with our Broncos not playing.
