I used to be a truck driver. I spent 2 years over the road. For those 2 years I wasn't the father I should have been because I was gone all the time. I basically left my wife to raise our son. I changed my carreer path because of it. One that I could spend time raising him like I should. It was the responsible thing to do for the life condition I was in. My son wasn't planned. But I did what I supposed to do by him. Whether it was convienient for my job or not.

With that said. I have several friends that are drivers. They chose to stay out on the road and left thier families at home to fend for themselves. Sure, they send a paycheck home to support thier kids. But thats not all there is to it.

Would you want some outsider that doesn't know your circumstances to sit aroung acting like they know everything about who you are and pissing on you when you are gone? Maybe you dont care. Maybe DT dont care. But it's in poor taste. Thats all Im sayin. It's in poor taste.
