I think the Broncos stay in the 4-3 next year but add players that could fit both 3-4 and 4-3.

1. B.J Raji , could be Nt in 3-4 and 4-3.
2.Tyson Jackson, could be our starting LDe but could also play De in 3-4
3. Donald Brown, I will be so happy if the Broncos can get Brown in the 3.
4. Chip Vaughn, should start at strong Safety
5a Victor Butler, could be backup Sam and some rush linebacker in 3-4.
5b Brandon Tate, torn up ACL so should fall in draft.
6a Lee Robinson ,backup Sam but could play Middle linebacker in 3-4
6b Brandon Fletcher, could play some Cb and Fs
7. Brian Hartline, 5 or 6 receiver.

Next years starting lineup on defence if we sign Atogwe as free agent
Lde Jackson
Ldt Thomas
Nt Raji
Rde Ekuban
Sam Bailey
Mike Larsen
Will Williams
Cb Bailey
SS Vaughn
Fs Atogwe
Cb Bly

I briefly caught some of the Sports Guys on The FAN today but they said something about the team officially making the move to 3-4. Again it was brief and I didn't catch it all.

We're going to a 3-4, get over it. you don't bring in a 3-4 def. coach to run a 4-3 defense.

I don't think Tyson Jackson will fall past the Ravens in the 1st round, he is a big need for them, he has good value and he is the only highly rated player who can play 3-4 DE.

Are the Ravens sticking with teh 3-4? They stand to lose a lot of personnel along with their DC.

Everything I have heard from Ravens fans I know is that they will stick with the 3-4, they will be able to retain at least some of the players who will be free agents and their position coaches and players are by far best suited to playing a 3-4 base defense with 40 fronts for passing situations.

Ravens play more of a 4-3. They used to lean towards the 3-4, but Ray complained about taking on guards and so they switched back to a 4-3 so he could prance around unfettered.

No, their base formation is 3-4 with Suggs and Jarret Johnson playing standing up. They didn't switch to 4-3, they got bigger linemen.

Suggs lines up as a DE either stand up or one hand down on about half the plays, including all passing situations and a number of situations where they try to disguise the coverage and blitz in Rex Ryans weird hybrid system.
