Hey guys, just found out through my job in financial PR that the FPA (which is based here in Denver and is an organization I've worked with) is going to be laying off at least 70 employees. I hope no one here is effected and best of luck to those who are.

already went down in my department. laid off 6 months ago and nothing is hiring now.

Who's got a backup plan or plan b in case of layoff? What is that plan?

I am assuming Financial Planners Assoc? Cant plan for anything if people dont have any money

Just be thankful you're not in CA, where they might not even have enough money to issue unemployment checks pretty soon

I'd heard they're sending IOU's for the tax rebates also.
