This is all we have to do for fun in KC, eat and get fat (and find new ways to expedite that process). Here's another article from today about this.

I'll have to make one of those at the tailgater next year. I'll take it in to the stadium and lob it at AKs head during the game. :wiggle:

Only in the US of A can ya get a 72oz steak with a the trimmings for free if you can down it in less than 1 hr.
I watch this "steak documentary" last night and just about had a coronary attack watching these 3 guys attempt the feat.

I'll give ya 3 guesses what the "record" is. In minutes!

Dude, the Bacon explosion was named for what happens to your heart when one is consumed. I'm sorry, but I'm getting fat just looking at that thing.

A lazy ass eating a good diet isn't a problem. However, eating enough of something like this will catch up to you regardless of your activity level or metabolism.

Are you talking about the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, TX. That place is something else. I have been there, though didn't try the 72-pounder....

Apparently, the youngest is a 11-year old kid and the oldest is a 62-year old granny.

And one dude gulped down 2 of those 72-pounders in under an hour.

There is a huge plaque on the wall commemorating all those who achieved the feat with records et al.
