pre Pass ....... yeah it is great , what you do is put all your info down , when you hit a transponder , all your info pops up on a computer screen ... as for weighing , they have scales built on the road , they weight you before you get to the chicken coop ........I cant use pre pass , All Oversize Loads but stop at every Port of entry with in a 5 mile radius .........

Nope, i dropped out of high school too!

Except three months later i remembered that i had a contract with the Navy and was due to ship off in about 4 months and NEEDED a dimploma for my military job. So after some quick thinking, as well as some REALLY quick reading, writing, and studying, I became the first person in the history of the state of Wisconsin to obtain a high school diploma over the internet.

4 years, 9 months later I am back in class, working towards a doctorate.

It's going to be a while...

That's a good gain.

BSEE, UCSD. It's a long story how I got there from Colfax and Monroe, but I thank the Denver Public School system for most of it. I got a superb education from the DPS. I stuck with it through all the gang fights and most of my friends dropping out because they didn't want to fight damn near every day. The teachers were superb at East High, the problem was if one was to attend East High, one better be prepared to be in a fistfight every day. Every day. By the time I was a senior every one of my friends from the neigborhood had dropped out. It was brutal back in those days, back in the early-70's, you couldn't have a black friend, because your white buddies would kick your ass for having a black friend, i mean they would literally kick your ass. And a black guy if he had a white friend his black buddies would literally kick his ass. The lines were drawn on color lines, the Mexicans, as they were called then had to bridge the gap. Those were bad days back in the early 70's after MLK was killed in 1968, those were bad, bad days. The 'Mexicans' as they were called back in those days also were militant with Cesar Chavez, so there was a three race war in the early 70's, it was ugly. Stabbings galore, I remember Colfax was shut down with riots right by the high school several times, bad times. You idiots these days better shy away from that.

Hey, you sissies want to hear some more stories about the old days when times were tough, when there were actually riots? Some of your grandads might be able to tell you about when there was no such thing as electricity. The Republicans fought tooth and nail to deny electricity to the rural areas.

It took the REA, the Rural Electrification Agency in 1935, the Democrats to bring electricity to the nation, the Republicans fought it tooth and nail. Most of you sissies don't realize that your forebears didn't have electricity until 1935.

And who brought electricity to the entire nation, who was it, who was it . .. . . the Democrats. We'd be waiting for it to this day if the GOP was in charge.

According to Republuicans electricity for all was an evil thing back in those days, it would only lead to sloth accordding to the Republicans.

So there's a little history lesson for you. I'll have some more.

And there was this thing called the WPA that created 8 million jobs from 1935 on, they built dams, and all kinds of buildings all over the USA. If you sissies would look around you would see projects built by the WPA. Just down the road from me there's two reservoirs built by the WPA.

And who brought the WPA into being . . . . . here it comes. . . . the Democrats!

Hmm I have heard it gets quite a bit tougher after that class.
Of course depends on the teacher and university I guess.
I am also taking an intermediate accounting class, and that is what I hear anyways from some friends who are in tax theory, financial reporting, etc...

Intermediate accounting is basically an in depth financial reporting class. Maybe its the university I go to but I'm heaing its mostly downhill from this. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

I think many people that went to other universities can agree that ASU has probably the largest number of hot girls of any school in the country. That is by word of mouth. The fact of the weather, 60,000 students, and many pools are probably reasons it puts other universities to shame when it comes to many hot girls. But I will say (being one travler of schools), every College has hot girls, even small schools and community colleges.

Well it's like 110 degrees most days of the year in Phx so of course they are hot. :-) But in all seriousness probably not, but I bet I am smarter then 95% of them. But I actually did go to college for an education which is why when I went to a business school I went to AZ, which has one of the highest rated business schools in the nation, not to mention the medical school and law school and being a highly ranked Research 1 University..

When ASU's claims to fame are hottest girls and being a party school and oh yeah Jake the Snake went there I think I will pass (BTW, we actually have superbowl winning FB players - Tedy Bruschi for one and actual NBA stars who graduated with real degrees).

Personally I don't really care about the rivalry. I do think AZ is a better school for education functions in a lot of areas, ASU is basically a party school and NAU is the best for teaching and hotel restaurant management.

I'm not big on the rivalry really either, but to say that ASU is basically a party school is completely untrue. Yes they rank very high on the whole Party school meter thing, whatever that is worth. It also has a great many schools and departments with high national academic rankings. U of A is a fantastic school, but ASU holds it's own despite it's reputation.

ASU is not just a party school. It does have some very well recognized programs, as does UA. ASU's MBA program is ranked higher than UA (http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/index.html)

As for ASU players that have been in the Super Bowl, there are actually a lot.
Darren Woodsen and Mike Haynes come to mind right away. I will say this though, ASU has 3 players in the HOF. Arizona does not have any!
