Looks like the Chiefs aren't keeping many assistant coaches. We'll miss Gunther for his yellow hunting glasses.

I wonder if he is going to wear blue-tinted eyeglasses in DET now.

ROFL!

Yes. And he'll start calling plays from the booth but when the defense tanks and he needs some attention he'll make a big deal about coming down to the sidelines.

I hope Detroit players like sleeveless shirts.

Maybe Gunther will take Krumrie with him? I hope so.

I don't blame Gunther for this pre-emptive move. There is still no word on whether Pioli is even going to keep Herm...

Pioli has a plan. Worry not chef's fan, Pioli is on it.

Can we just call Pioli "Spicoli" hehehe "I'M SOO WASTED!"

I don't get how this guy hangs on. I mean I understand a deadication from the chefs, but why would the lions want him?

****.

That speculates that Herm will be gone.

I told you ****ers around here to shut up and quit spreading false rumors that Herm was mentally unfit to coach. Now look what you've done.

Remember when Gunther was supposed to be some sort of saviour?

They rolled out the red carpet for Gunther in '04 after kicking him to the curb three years earlier.

Hey Rocky Mountain Stampede, is that D. Gardenar in your avatar? I was just thinking about him the other day and his comments about Shanny being " the little man upstairs." He signed for all that money and amounted to nothing but a bunch of pancakes.

Awesome! It's even better that the Denver winning score is on the ticker.

That's like comparing Denny's to Ruth's Chris.

Did the food analogy make you salivate?

Can you get a chocolate and marshmallow covered steak at Ruth Chris? That would really get Bobo going.

Awesome! It's even better that the Denver winning score is on the ticker.

That was the December '05 afternoon when Denver won and later watched San Diego (vs. Miami) and Kansas City (@Dallas) both lose at the last minute in the locker room.

It's hard to believe it's been three years already since that 13-3 season.

I will miss watching KFC run Goonthers all out blitz that forgets to cover the RB out of the back field and results in a quick TD pass.

Or endlessly biting on bootlegs. Jake Plummer would still be in the league, have won 3 SBs by now, and on his way to the HOF is he got to play Gunther's D every week.

Miss I.

See now I am just wondering if Jake Plummer can be mentioned in every thread whether it relates or not (here it did but now I am just amused to see how creative we can get since this seems to be Jake Weak, I mean week at the Mane). :)

As for Gunther, in 2005 while living in KC, I seem to recall most KC fans had a deep disdain for the man, deep disdain. It must be like Christmas there now with Pioli in, Gunther and Carl gone, now all they must still want is a new coach and oh a franchise QB.
