Did anyone catch Josh Mcdaniels on Jim Rome? Just a brief synopsis.

Praised Belichick as a mentor.

Would not commit to moving to a 3-4, said it would be based on personnel and free agency.

Is a big Jim Rome fan, dropped some Jungle quotes that seriously endeared him to Rome and got the call of the day.

Says he really like Jay Cutler, all generic though.

Could be worse media hacks to be endeared to...Rome doesn't have a huge nationally syndicated show, and TV show(sucks by the way) for nothing. Rome is actually hilarious if you give him a chance. I drive on sales calls all day, so I listen out of boredom, and I usually get a good LOL out of him. Coach Mac will be fine as a Rome show regular.

I disagree. Rome is a radio/tv personality. Everett was a football player. He said it right to his face, and even if he woulda got his ass kicked, so what? He made Chris look like a meat-head idiot. No one expects him to win. Is that stupid? Maybe. Punked? Not in the slightest.

For what it's worth, though.. i think it was staged.

It was... That or the camera crew magically knew to pull to a wide angles shot just before "Chris" went after him.

Rome gets old pretty quick. He makes one small point, then spends 5 minutes repeating it and the next five minutes saying it a dozen different ways, with all those annoying pauses.

More clips from Josh on Rome today. He sounded cooler and calmer than he did durning the presser.

Rome thinks Josh could be the best of the bunch of hire's this offseason. Thinks Josh, Broncos team, Pat Bowlen is a great mix.

Jokes that what a great time we are in right now. A man of color is the president and a "Clone" is a NFL headcoach!

You guys ever have the poster that they sold in the school book mag?

I waited and waited for it and it was just a bunch of blury Broncos with none of the real bronco's numbers used. I payed like $5 bucks for the damned thing back in 1978! What a rip off.

I got a puzzle for Christmas in 1978, it was from the SB XXII, It had Craig being devoured by Too tall and Hollywood. I never liked that puzzle either.

Thank god for SB XXXII!
