This is the day I've been waiting for, for about 6 years. The end of dishonesty. The end of fraud. The end of warmongering policies. The end of warrantless wiretapping. The end of Torture. The end of lining the pockets of cronies and associates based on lies and fearmongering. The end of disregard for the Constitution.
The end of stupidity!:sunshine:

It would be a vast improvement to just reign in the lobbyists' influence and ****can "earmarks" and "riders". We'll have to wait and see. I am sure it wont be business as usual anymore.

You remind me of a guy who just went through an Amway sales seminar. Wide eyed and excited only to find out shortly there after that the only person that is going to make money is the guy at the top of the pyramid that scammed you.

I have a very good idea. An emotional hot head that would struggle in life regardless of how intelligent you might be. Your inability to operate without emotion trumping your brain is so strong that you are handicapped in all aspects of life.

No good decisions ever get made off emotion and you struggle to make any without emotion involved.

I've seen you operate on here for years and there is a reason why you have made physical threats to more people than the rest of the board combined.

We still have sore losers in here, who seem to HOPE for Obama's failure. That's what many of us have with the election of Obama, HOPE. We are not blinded by the fact that there are many politicians in Washington whose only goal, or ability, seems to be to foul up our lives with their stupidity. But two of the biggest leave Washington today and we can only HOPE that Obama will do his best to turn things around, no matter how slowly, with his best intent and with HONESTY. I think we just want someone that will be honest with us, as far as they can be honest. Right now the majority of Americans are high on HOPE for America's future. Something sorely lacking in the past several years. It feels good.

TailgateNut
01-20-2009, 08:08 AM
They key word being HONESTY. Something the Bush administration could not grasp and would not embrace. A breath of fresh air just to trust the president not to lie to the country.
I really don't care how dire the situation, just tell me the truth.

Smiling Assassin27

Count me among those who would never hope for anybody's failure (except Al Davis and Phil Rivers) and genuinely hope that the new president brings prosperity and peace to this nation. That being said, the man going into office inspires little to no confidence that this will come to pass. At any rate, there will be plenty of time to debate his policies, motives, and general perception of the world another day. May God inspire the best in this president and allow him a steady hand, an honest disposition, and wisdom in all he does. Amen.

The crowd had every right to "serenade" the former president, but it was still classless. Bush and Obama have been nothing but cordial to each other since the election to smooth the transition of power. I don't think Obama would have approved the behavior of some people as Bush left Washington...

Nope, this white woman was booing too and singing right along with them. I knew there would be boos and there were more than 20, and I was happy that Laura Bush came out first, without him. She didn't deserve that. But a man who finagles a nation into a false war that costs the lives of over 4000 of our finest should be thrilled that's all he got.

so your disagreeing with my observation it was a group of black people they showed in the video. If there were any others they weren't in the first 2 rows. If there were any others in those rows it wasn't more then a couple.

It was a group of mostly younger black males being stupid because they don't know how to act.

If it were a bunch of white rednecks doing I probably would have made a joke like who is that they White Knights choir from Mississippi?

You just see anything racial, be it a question, or a joke as being racist.

Reason? Because you are an idiot.

Some will have a hard on for Bush for years to come since they will find excuses that somehow Bush has screwed up their lives and it wasn't their own fault. Bush didn't effect my life really one way or the other the last 8 years nor did he make personal decisions for me either. But I understand the concept of taking responsibility for my own actions, which is something obviously some around here haven't grown up to understand yet.
