I'm still pretty sore over watching him break Shannon Sharpe's are wearing Raider Black.

Romo has had a few too many "supplements".

Line backer coach maybe?

I'd like him more than Tuten as our S&C Coach.

I'm still pretty sore over watching him break Shannon Sharpe's are wearing Raider Black.

I was thinking that myself, although remembering sitting in M&T Bank Stadium (then PSI.net Stadium) while Sharpe broke a long TD on us in the playoffs hurts too.

I was just going to say, I wonder what Sharpe has to say about that...

I've heard from more than a few people in the know that the main reason Sharpe doesn't attend any Broncos alumni events is because Romo attends them all.

Competitiveness, which Romo has, is one prerequisite for a coach. Maybe assistant LB coach or something might work out. He is a hard worker too IMO.

Nobody liked playing against romo that was a huge plus for whatever team he was playing for.

say what you haters want, One of the best Linebackers to play the game. I say give him more pills and get him to play for us again, he would put all of our LBs to shame even though he is jurassic!

I would love to see Romo in blue and orange no matter what role he played, i would love to see him working with the LBs.

I'd like to see Romo coach the Linebackers.

It would be interesting. Being a savvy player doesn't make you a great coach, but that guy was extremely smart on the field. Every group he played for was successful. Add his passion, and it makes you wonder why he's not coaching already. I just assumed he was too much of a kook.

LB Quality Control/Eye Socket Fracturer?

There would be no slackers that is for sure.

I think he possibly would be a very good LB coach.

Huh ? everyone playing has the heart Romo has , they just dont have the smarts ....... you want to see players with no heart ?
Chester McGlockton , Dale Carter , pacman Jones ,Plexico Burress , Randy Moss , T.O . , these guys rely or relied on talent alone , if anything the Broncos d is full of " heart " just dont know what in the hell they are doing

I'd love to see Romo back with the Broncos one way or another. He'd be a big time motivator on the sidelines.

Motivation/smarts are just part of it, though. It's an administrative position and requires an enormous amount of prep, organization, leadership ability and management ability... the latter being a rare trait, imo.

I'm guessing Romo either hasn't really applied himself, or there are other issues... or he'd already be coaching. His pedigree alone should be able to get doors open for him.

I can't imagine any players would really wan to suffer thru his bs. It would get old quick I'm sure.

On the other hand, old Romo does have some very good supplement products he's put out recently. Got some free samples and would recommend them highly. Esp. the nighttime stuff. Makes you sleep great after workouts.

Romo used to just destroy the edges when he played SSL. I loved how he would fly in full speed to the edge blocker and try and blow the whole play up.

Boss Bailey played the SSL so soft this yr it made me want to puke. Talk about a huge pussy.

IMO the new coaches won't be putting up with that style of play. I'm looking forward to a huge change in Broncos attitude on defense.

Having said a lot of good things about Romo I don't think he is coaching material. He's almost too intense and short tempered. Plus he doesn't have the experience to just jump right in. If he wants to coach I would think he would have to be an assistant to the linebackers coach to start.

I loved it when Bill was a Bronco, he left it all on the field every game and was a great leader. Teams did not push us around when Bill was our enforcer

When the rest of the team went out the night before our Superbowl vs Atl, Romo was in the pool working out with a paddle in the water.

What I loved about him was he wanted Broncos to win as much as I did. Not just on the field, but off the field, at practice, in offseason, on sidelines, etc etc no matter what all he cared about was playing football.

Had the made season 20 games long I bet the only happy player would have been Bill Rominowski.

You know people keep talking about the Romo/Sharpe incident, but has it ever really been confirmed that it was intentional? It was obviously quite a few years ago, but I remember watching that play and it didn't really look intentional to me.

I'll never forget that...Mike Carey had a chance to reverse the incomplete pass they called on that play on a clear catch by Sharpe. I hate him until this day because of that.

But too reckless to coach, IMHO.

I'd bring in Romo just to teach the guys on D how to eat rocks and **** gunpowder.

Love him, hate him, piss on his burning body, the guy was tougher than rawhide and left it all on the field. He'd motivate that D or beat the **** out of them.

I miss Romo. He gave it every play. Offensive players were scared of him, or looking to kill him, either way it would take them out of their game.
