I had no idea he was released because he was afraid to hit. I guess I was stuck in a closet.
Good for him. Glad he was able to bounce back.

You could tell he was running timid after the hit from Everett. I'm glad everything has worked out for him, even if it wasn't with the Broncos.

It chaps my hide that he lost his game with us, and actually is a good player; but you can't fault him for losing it under those circumstances. I hold him no ill will (but i hate the people who insist on starting a thread every time he has a good game). I actually see it as some vindication for Shanny, he was a fairly criticized pick, now you can say "see, Shanny knew what he was doing when he drafted him!"
I repeatedly said on this board basically this exact same thing. He and another man collided and the other person nearly died. You really think someone walks away from that unchanged?
I wish all the best on him, he's hands down my favorite non-Bronco player in the entire league. I hope he finds nothing but success the rest of his life and I'll be pulling for the Giants the rest of the playoffs just because I want Hixon to have a second ring.

Agreed, and Javon didn't deserve a lot of the **** he got on this board either with what happened with him.

Maybe if I'd heard of these players... or they weren't both dead to me.

Where were the Broncos when he went into a shell??
One thing I'm coming to realize is Shanny had a real disconnect goin' on in several areas.
With his second house and RTD, u wonder if didn't realize he was slacking off?
There is too much money in sports, it's getting insane. When Coaches and players are spending too much time on how to spend money...

Completely agree and I wasn't really a fan of bringing him in to start with.
But once he got hurt he deserved better than to be treated like a second class citizen by the staff and the fans.
I think the biggest problem Walker had is that sure, Marshall had emerged as the #1, but suddenly he was relegated to decoy status while all the while having his willingness to play questioned. After all the screwed up **** he'd dealt with from D-Will's death just made it tough to deal with all that professionally.
