Cavs. They've been consistently excellent this season, as shown by their beatdown of the Celtics, who are now suffering from "we can turn it on when it counts"-itus.

Bye Bye Bynum, again. West opens up for Nuggets to take it.

Nuggets suck, wake up. Bynum goes out, Kobe goes off for 61. You will see a Kobe like you have not seen all season for the next 6-10 weeks that Bynum is out.

Amazing how trading for Chauncey Billups made the Nuggets really good. I don't think they can win very much in the playoffs, but certainly be better than the usual horrid 1st round showings.
I do see the Cavs being the main contender. I thought Kobe was good, but Lebron is simply amazing.

The Mamba "came alive" from the period between Shaq leaving and the Lakers actually getting big men. KNow what happened? They sucked. Mamba put up 30 shots a night, made 14, got a lot of points, no assists, and they lost.

LeBron one ups Kobe at MSG. 61 points is nice, but LeBron had one of the highest scoring triple doubles in NBA history.

52 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds compared to 61 points, 0 rebounds and 3 assists.

MVP.

Let's see:

1. No Andrew Bynum
2. Kobe sub par game.
3. Shot 50% from the free throw line.
4. 2nd night of a back to back. 3rd game in 4 nights on the road.

And we still won.

Sore loser alert:

I was fouled, I was pushed," Allen said of that final attempt. "I think referees do let us play at the end of games. What was disappointing about this one was when Kevin (Garnett) got his (sixth) foul. It was such a chippy foul for him to get thrown out on that play. So you somewhat set the tone for how the rest of the game was going to be played, and then when it comes down to a shot that going to determine it, everybody swallows (the whistle)."

Sorry to interrupt the Lakers circle jerk, but has it ever occurred to y'all that the Celtics just aren't that good this year? They were in a dogfight with the 76ers and T-Wolves a few nights ago, for crissake.

Now, Jerk on!

Because the Boston Craptics have been battling flu problems and Garnett was out for those games I believe.

The C's aren't the same as last year. Maybe it's age, but I think losing James Posey was absolutely HUGE. Besides a few threes that come in bunches against bad teams from Eddie House, their bench is terrible.

I hope Danny Ainge finds the $6 Million he saved by letting him go worth it.

NBA corrects stats, LeBron loses triple-double

By TOM WITHERS, AP Sports Writer 1 hour, 9 minutes ago

CLEVELAND (AP)—LeBron James never saw this steal coming.

Two days after Cleveland’s superstar recorded an apparent historic triple-double in a 107-102 win against the New York Knicks, the NBA stripped James of one of his 10 rebounds after reviewing game tape. The league said the rebound with 39.3 seconds left should have been credited to Cavaliers center Ben Wallace, who tapped a loose ball that James grabbed.

Considering that 14 out of those 19 wins were against teams with sub-.500 records and 9/12 were sub-.500 teams, yeah.

I'm not saying they're bad, I'm saying they're not great.

I like the fact the Lakers got rid of Radmanovic. He was costing too much money for so little production. This move allows us to free up money for Ariza later on.

Anything Morrison chips in will be a bonus.

Yep.

Vlad Rad had a fat contract through 2011, and he wasn't giving us jack sh*t.

Plus, we were already deep enough at SF with Luke and Ariza.

This trade was all about making cap space.

Another good move, Mitch!

Lakers only one game out of the best record in the league.

And without Bynum, shows how good they are.

I really don't see anyone in the west challenging them.

I still picked the Celtics to the finals but haven't played well as of late.
