Today's Denver Post Article (http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_11403273) reports the next Head Coach of the Broncos will be one of these seven candidates.

Who do you THINK (Not Want) Pat Bowlen will hire?

Steve Spagnuolo, Giants DC
Josh McDaniels, Patriots OC
Raheem Morris, Buccaneers DC
Rick Dennison, Broncos OC
Jason Garrett, Cowboys OC
Leslie Frazier, Vikings DC
Todd Bowles, Dolphins AC

Well I can tell you who isn't. Dennison, he is being retained as an assistant, and sources say 4 of 5 will be a coach someday. Read btw the lines, Dennison your courtesy interview is complete.

Now watch he gets the job.

My gut tells me it will be McDaniels. My hope tells me its Morris.

With Bowlen keeping almost the entire O staff, it just makes sense to go with a D focused HC. Spags seems to be the fit, Morris just doesn't have enough experience.

However the fact that it is public that the interviews are over will make it difficult to bide their time while the Giants run through the playoffs.

hmmmm

Got a gut feeling about Morris, but Spagnuolo has the longer track record.

I'll be happy if whomever is hired can fix our defensive woes.

I have a sneeking suspicion that it won't be Spags. Based on what I have heard and read about regarding his interview.

However, it can be said his interview wasn't great because he was preparing for the Eagles. If they are eliminated this weekend I bet they bring him in, along with McDaniels and Morris for the second round. If he doesn't wow them on his second time he pretty much will be out as a contender.

GM = Goodman
HC = McDaniels
OC = Bates
DC = Capers/Romeo

Ditto

I think it will be McDaniels because Bowlen will see a young Shanahan in him.

I think it depends on what happens this weekend. If the Giants win I think Bowlen won't wait and will go with Mcdaniels. If they lose, then Spags gets the job and Bates becomes OC

I seriously doubt that.

Bowlen will hire according to who he thinks is the best man for the job not whom ever is first available

As much as I want Morris, I think Pat goes with McDaniels. Just a hunch.

What have you heard? Aside from hearing that they met on Saturday, I haven't heard anything.

Dude is 32. This would be a questionable hire, IMO, due to his inexperience. This is a semi-extreme rebuild that the next coach is faced with. A guy with 3 years experience as an OC just doesn't seem like the best person for the job, no matter how bright he is. He comes from a quality organization and has had a chance to work under a coaching giant, so he's got that going for him.

Relative to Morris, Spags, and the others, however, he's comparable. I guess you just have to see if these inexperienced guys can do it or not.

My choice would be Spagnuolu.
But I think its Morris or McDaniels and somehow get the feeling that Morris
is going to be chosen.

I am uneasy about him due to his lack of high level experience, but given 2 years think he'll do allright after that. Just don't want a short leash to cut him short of REAL progress.

Bowlen will have to be patient at first if he chooses him.

McDaniels...because Spagooloo is by far the best canadate and makes the most sense.

Nothing definative really, just bits and pieces in the papers and on TV. Both the Jets and the Broncos were not wowed. Thats why I say its just a feeling.

I'd like to see coach Spags for no other reason than itll be entertaining to watch Maners attempt to spell his name over the next year. People here still cant spell Dumervil

And that would be the biggest mistake Bowlen makes EVER. Thank God it isn't happening.
