I've had enough of this, and I'm sick of hearing "cut him some slack" and "he can't make them all."

Screw it, he's not that good of a K anymore, he's injury prone, and he's the highest paid K in the league!!! Denver is a Kickers dream, anyone would want to kick in this thin Mile High air, yet we re-signed this bum and gave him this huge contract, and all he's done is miss kicks that could be big in the game.

Edinger showed him up today, as all other K's seem to do just fine in Denver, yet our own K who kicks here constantly, cannot seem to find a way to put the damn ball between the uprights.

Screw Elam, like that commercial says "He's got one job, to make kicks" and if he wants to be the highest paid K then he better start making them more often.

It doesn't help when Knorr drops the F'n snap.

But I agree, he isn't playing up to par and certainly not up to his contract.

The one he missed was on the hold......number 4 ****ed it up. ...Validated by the missed snapped on the next kick.

It does seem odd that every kicker who comes to Denver has a career day. Well, not really. Elam has it pretty good here. The leg has to be bothering him. Even the ones he has been making look like wounded ducks.

more excuses for a mediocre kicker.....

DFan- I'm right there w/you! I had mentioned the same issue during the game thread how every kicker we face has an exceptional day. Elam is paid to be the best kicker, he better start showing it- it's getting way too old watching him shank kicks.

You guys can bitch all you want...bottom line....the snapped was ****ed up twice.....frickin live with it.

Thanks Ill for seeing the viewpoint, his miss was reportedly a "bad hold", but christ, he's the highest paid K in the league, meaning he should be the best, so shouldn't he be able to overcome something like that?

The best WR's in the game make the tough catches, best QB's make the tough throws, shouldn't the best K make a tough FG?

Elam has now become the new Brian Griese.

Elam is perfect, everyone else just sucks.

That's not what I'm saying at all....and you know that. First snap was slanted as all get out.....enough to make ray finkle to go insane all over again.....

Elam is FAR from perfect but as I stated 2 last week, he IS NOT HEALTHY.
He is very "careful" (for a lack of a better term) on his way to kick the ball. Like, the injury is in his head. That isnt his fault. Shanny has to bench him. I am 100% convinced, he is still injured and because of all of our other injuries, Shanny doesnt want to burn another roster spot on a kicker.

I'll be happy with Knorr, at least he's not getting 1.45 mill this year to do what Elam is doing.

Knorr can't Punt nor hold let alone kick FG's

we need to simply start over in terms of everything personnel wise.

FADERPROOF

give him a shot, he looked fine making a FG last week. Again, he's not making 1.45 mill to miss FG's, that's Elam.

Elam is 20 of 24. And 3 of the misses are directly attributed to an injury.

What were Plummer's final stats? Sounds like he had a bad day but the highlights of Portis looked amazing. Why didn't you just keep running it?

BTW, Trent Green orchestrated another victory on the final drive today. But he's just lucky.

Ringleader, That's eactly what we should have done, but our coaches have their head so far up their asses that the obvious is too obvious for them, and they love to 'outsmart' our opponents!

BTW the Dolphins all orange jerseys look pretty good. Go Redskins, we need them to win.

Be glad the Raiders decided to use a prevent defense on that 4th and 14.

Bad snap or not, our entire special teams stink worse than a sweaty butt crack.

Neither am I...(you can thank FADERPROOF) but when my memory is questioned and I'm said to be talking out of my ass. I think it's warranted in this case.

I've started a whole 2 in the past 2 years, I know that is a rather high number for you to count to, but it's the number right after 1.

Why not post it as a link in the thread where you got your feelings bruised. :hitself:

Look at the front page. It's gameday and we have every Elam thread known to man pulled to the top. Stupid.

My feelings weren't bruised, this guy is just a squashed bug on the windshield that is my life....he'll come and go like bus boy at a restaurant.

I agree completely. I read somewhere in the preseason how he "leaves the job at the job" when he goes home, and his "most important job" was to not talk football with his kids and family ... not my favorite guy either.

But never fear ... Mason Crosby is going back to Boulder for his senior year, but I see a changing of the guard at Dove Valley right after that ! ! ! !
