I'm gonna make at least a couple of games this year, to make up for the debacle against the Raiders...

The only away game that looks like a win is Cinncinnatti.

6-7 wins looks possible....more will be difficult.

The only scenario that I can envision a playoff berth with this schedule is the scenario which also has Bob sleeping with supermodels and Taco going to NFLshop.com and paying $ 250.00 for an authentic old Plummer jersey.

Now remember we might have a functioning defense ;D

I was already including a moderate increase in defensive play. And seven wins would require us to go 6-2 at home, something we haven't done as well at lately.

That schedule is brutal!. It would be amazing to get to 9 wins next year.

I am not that put off by that schedule. Hopefully we can win at least 4 division games, then we have home game with Cleveland, away games with Cincinnati and Washington that should be another 3 wins.

That leaves the Colts, Eagles and Ravens away, those are 3 difficult games, however do keep in mind that Manning looked shaky in the early part of the season this year, Mcnab is not the player he once was and has battled injuries. The Ravens look like the real deal unless Flacco runs headfirst into a sophomore slump, so that game may be out of reach.

At home I give us a decent shot at winning any game, we will have 4 tough games with the Giants, Steelers, Cowboys and Patriots. Hopefully we play the Cowboys in december when Romo has a habbit of sucking, the Patriots in september when Brady is still getting back to form, the Steelers on a hot day and the Giants on an off-day.

If the defense improves a lot we can win 12 games. If the defense doesn't improve we will win 8 and if the offense falls of the face off the earth we are headed for a top 5 draft pick.

Spags or Mcdaniels will get a chance to beat their old teams...

maybe I am the stupid one here, I do have the knack

but isn't it a little premature to announce that the sky is falling until we find out the direction the team is going with its staff, draft and any FA moves?

I am always optimistic I guess, it is not like the Pats looked at their 16-0 season schedule the year before and thought "sumbitch, we got this!"
