I do think we need a G/C to help with the interior of our line but I am not about to waste a first day pick on a guy when we have last years top college C sitting on our roster. I know he has been hurt some this year but he did make it into our Goal line package towards the end of the season. and if we are taking a back in the second I am going to venture out on a limb and say that it will be either Green or Davis.

It looks as though Mack might be around in the second. and donald brown is going back for his senior season at CT

DOH i guess he changed his mind

Only one safety? And as low as the 5th round? A lot of this draft looks good, but we have NO ONE at either safety right now. We need to address this position early and often. At least one pick in the top two needs to go to be a safety, and I would not be surprised to see the Goodmans draft three safties.

Not that trade tables are gospel, but 22 & 28 = 1440 and 12 is 1200. A deal if you can get it...

it might take our 2nd and a pick next year

i think 12 and a 3rd at most should get that deal done, if Phili was wanting to make that deal.
And with them i say Spikes and Shonn Greene. Greene became a probable 1st rounder with his bowl performance as well as season play.

why is every one so sold on Alex Mack? I know he is good but seriously would you really use a pick that high when our D needs 6-8 new Starters? I feel like this is a luxury pick and when you have at least 7 different priorities its pretty damn hard to justify a C in the first or second freaking round.

Spikes and Moreno...Greene will be there in at 44, maybe even 76 after underclassmen declare and the combine numbers come in IMO

no thanks to Moreno. he in my eyes, looks like a 1st round version of Selvin Young. Give me Wells at 12, or Greene at 44.

and more than likely 44 will be too late for Greene. Doak Walker award winner this year, 100 rushing yards every game this season, and his bowl game performance. he is going to shoot up draft boards and probably gets picked in the 1st. he is consistently going to give whichever team gets him good yards.

Alright swith Mack for Greg Hardy. This would work good if the Broncos hire Spagnoulo. The Broncos would then bring in B.J. Raji,Jarvis Green ,and Greg Hardy and give Spags the defensive lineman to run his System.Instead of Sidbury then draft Copper from Oklahoma. Copper was first team all Big 12

Okay, I theorized a couple trades with DET in another post because I don't think PHI will part with 2 first rounders:

Trade 1-12 for 1-20, 2-1, and 3-1
OR
Trade 1-12 for 1-20, 2-1, and swap 3-15 for 3-1

Comments?

From a trade chart if we got 20 and 33 (1430) we would have to give them our 3rd rounder (200) to add to our 12 (1200).

I have no idea who will be in charge in Detroit, but with the number of holes they have, I can't envision them moving up when they need multiple impact players.

The Broncos trade 12 pick/149th pick (5th) and a 2010 3rd for the 22 and 28 picks.
You gotta give to get, and PHIL isnt just gonna give away picks for free.
1A. BJ RAJI DT BC
1B. BRANDON SPIKES MLB FLA
2. SHONN GREENE RB IOWA
3. MATT SHAUGHNESSY DE WISC
4. SEAN SMITH FS UTAH
5. ROY MILLER DT TEX
6. JOSE MARTINEZ K UTEP
7. BRIAN JOHNSON QB UTAH
7. SOLOMON ELIMIMIAM LB HAW

There. everything is adressed.
Add in FAs FS OJ Atogwe, WR Kelly Washington, and possibly a DT, and the team is suddenly on its way up!

Two of our first three picks are offensive? Like hell. I would be O.k with making a superpower offence while improved our defence. The Broncos in my draft the defence line becomes vary good with additions of Raji and Green plus a good defensive coach to coach Moss and Crowder. Also Williams and Ellerbe give the Broncos 2 vary fast linebackers. Hopefully the Broncos add a good safety in free agency.

Pretty decent. Don't why we acquire Kelly Washington though.

I can't believe all the folks who think Raji will still be there in the 20s. He's the best DT in the draft by far.

I absolutely love this Draft but I think we can forget Washington in FA. Give me OJ, Bart Scott, and Brian Dawkins (Spags would ****!) Then find a DT and then you can start posting those Lombardi trophies all over the internet again!

YEah. I am thinking that Darrell Jackson doesnt re-sign, so i went with some depth there for Cutler. But now that i think about it, hopefully Chad Jackson can pan out and be the reserve guy for DEN. Thats a big hope though.

If Spags is are new coach then I could see a draft like this
1a,Raji , best DT in draft
1b Greg Hardy, fits the mold of De that Spags like to use.
2. Donald Brown ,still need a running back.
3. Jasper Brinkley, I think spags like big Physical middle linebackers.
4. Zach Follett, great blitzing Sam and a physical tackler.
5 David Burton, Physical Safety that can play both FS or SS.
Then I could see Spags also signing as free agents a couple of ex giants in Derrick Ward and James Butler for about 3 million each. The Giants like to run a 2 back system and Brown and Ward would both see alot of carries. I could also see Jarvis Moss being traded maybe for Jarvis Green.New England needs a outside linebacker plus their starting defensive line need new contracts. The broncos then target a FS like Dawkins maybe 2 year 10 million dollars. I think Spags work with Dawkins in Philadelpia.
